And I have to say, well done Keep team! The connection to my account was seamless and extremely quick. Asked if I wanted to upload a world state, and bam, I was in business.. Everything seems to be working as it should. ![]()

how does it work if i may ask? does it automatically detect the 'signed in account" on the Keep website and therefore ask if you want to import your save?

First, I exported my world state in the Keep. One click. Done.
My Origin account and my Xbox account are linked, so since I loaded the game already signed into my Xbox, it signed me in to EA automatically. At least, I never had to manually sign in anywhere. I clicked "new game" and, in the character selection screen, it asked if I wanted to import a world state via the Keep. I said "yes" and that was it. Very easy. Supposedly, there's dialogue somewhere in the beginning-ish that even reveals a bit of your world state, but I haven't reached that point yet.
How about the Hawke recreation, is that done before you start the game?

Nope. Kind of glad, tbh. It would break up the flow of the story and be really confusing for new players.
Yeah, I guess it's better this way. But then again, there isn't probably a way they can do it that won't feel weird.
Ah, jealous. I'm glad that it's working out well with the Keep. Maybe there will be less complaining about the purpose and efficiency of it.
here starts the journey of one of the best RPGS ever i hope.
crowskin, thanks so much for sharing this info - you posted exactly what I needed to know.
I've been waiting for the game to download through EA Access & was just checking the Keep. I was shocked & thrilled to discover that my canon Warden who I thought was lost forever had SYNCED (despite the fact that the save had been deleted from my console years ago & didn't even show up in my BSN profile anymore)! I was so happy I started cheering & dancing around in my jammies - very undignified behavior for a woman my age, hehehe...but it meant so much to me to get my Warden back that I felt like a little kid on Christmas morning.
I don't know how you pulled this miracle off, BioWare, but THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart! NOW I'm ready to play Inquisition.
