Perhaps they are getting ready to ship it to you so you can get it on release.

I have never worked at GameStop, so I don't know how their accounting works. However, what is possibly happening is that they put a hold of that amount on your account to ensure sufficient funds were there, but the actual charge will occur when they ship the game to you.

That's just a guess. I work at a newspaper so, as an example, when somebody places an ad in our paper and uses a credit card or debit card to purchase it, we put a hold on their account for the amount of the ad the day they place the order, but we don't actually charge that card until the day the ad publishes in the newspaper. If that helps make sense?

My payment for the Inquisitor's Edition already processed as well. If you go to the GameStop site, help center, pre orders, it says they may process payment up to 10 days early to "get the product to you faster." I'm relatively certain that you could still change/cancel by calling customer service if you needed to.

I was starting to worry (no, actually panic), my credit card account hasn't been touched.

So, I used the chat route to contact GameStop (with the main inquisition theme on in my headset).  They confirmed that the order has been released and with my 1 day shipping option I should be receiving it on release day (11/18).

Happy camper, going back into stasis now.
