I could've sworn i saw 15 total of SVT (secrets/viends/trophy) when i started playing the game (and i hear a number of players saying 15 as well), but looking at the tutorial guide in the "how-to" section:
So what is it really? 15 or 50? Cause i got 2 market days left and.... i only got like 34 total..

It's 15 combined for a good ending, 30 combined for the best ending. "One correction: the very best ending can be achieved with 30 Secrets, Viands and Trophies - not 50. This has been corrected within the game." See on the Failbetter Games tumblr. So you should be fine with 34 combined (though that might also depend on story choices).

This text game actually started out pretty dull to me.. but now im sorta addicted after encountering so many plot storylines. 
Too bad none of the choices here will affect the DA:I campaign.

Not a single one! I just used up all my possible actions every day. Except when I've been asleep, I haven't left the game alone for more than six hours at a stretch since I started. (It turns out that The Last Court is a fun thing to play on your phone while you're on holiday with your parents and waiting for your mother to finish photographing the five hundredth bird you've seen today ...)
Other than that, I just filled all my party slots and went hunting a bunch. The case cards from Market Days give plenty of Secrets.
Yeah...I noticed that I still had a few secrets/trophies/viands left and had apparantly achieved the best ending. I believed the 50 were accurate and put all my (ingame) actions of the last 2 days into getting to those 50. Good thing getting dignity and prosperity to 100 is rather easy as a Scholar. 
Guess I can stop playing as well: 17 secrets, 13 trophies, 10 viands with 2 days left to go...
I found there is one case that gives way more stuff than other Market Day cards:

When the Divine arrives, she has a favor cap of 6. When you reach that, it goes to 8. Then it goes to 10. They are the neutral/good/best ending respectively.
You need 3 viands/secrets/trophies for 1 favor. So if you do the maths:
- To reach favor 6 you need 18 items
- To reach favor 8 you need 24 items
- To reach favor 10 you need 30 items
However, this only applies if everything goes smooth with her. If you displease her, then you will get negative favour, and will need to regain in - using more items.
It is also important to know that items are used in amounts of 3, so having multiples of 3 is a must. I advice having 12/12/6 if you want the minimun amount for the best ending, or a little more if you want some wiggle room.
Unless opening the chantry and failing the check with her, steals half of your resources, It'd still be doable

It's a mix between what choices you made while playing the game, what choices you make then and passing the correct stat checks. Depending on what you did in some of your cases, those situations will be brought up during the feast and could cause you to loose approval.
So if I have 17 Whispered Secrets, 14 Trophies and 10 Viands with 2 days to go I'll have a chance at the best ending possible? That is good to know. I had not started gathering resources in earnest until 3 days into the Last Court, but I may restart my game anyways if certain matters involving the Green Knight don't pan out well.

Well, I have 18, 11, 15 with two Market Days left, and from what I recall, the check to please the Divine about the Chantry is Scholarship-based? I'm nigh-maxed at 54+40, so no sweat there. Even with the two big no-nos under my belt, I more or less consider myself in the clear.

0o Wait, I thought I've been reading on the forums that you needed 15 of each for the good ending... I've got 21 secrets, 16 trophies and 10 Viands and I've been worried I wasn't going to succeed since I only have 1 day left. So I'm guessing I have the best ending in the bag now, and can stop worrying about hunting for Viands; and work on getting my Prosperity/Freedom/Dignity back to 100 and my Peril/Twilight/Revolution down to 0?

Hahaha, I missed the update too.. I am now at 22 secrets, 16 trophies and 15 Viands with 2 market days left
I just got the ending...had some spare Dawn to rush the days past a bit more...and I got all the stats to 100...felt pretty proud...its actually kind of nice seeing more of the world of Thedas like this. I'd love to see them expand on this or make a sequel. After all in Origins you could become the teryn of Gwaren, and if not someone has to take Loghain's place, no matter what happens. Such little things woudl be nice. Maybe after Inquisition's been out for awhile and they shift their focus onto the next game.
