I had ordered mine from Amazon, but then I decided to switch it over to Origin instead.  My reason?  Give the dev's a couple'a extra bucks and I get extra special stuff when I order from Origin.   (like a pre-load) 

 

EDIT :  Oh yah, I won't be able to play all day long either.   Damn work.

I pre-ordered the deluxe edition from Origin, so I will be starting my preload tomorrow at noon.  My hope is to get unlock the game on Tuesday at midnight and if all goes well I would like to make my character and attempt to get through the prologue.  After that though, I likely won't be touching the game because of work for the rest of the week until the weekend.

 

I have often thought about taking time off work to play the game, but I am always worried about burning the time off and not being able to play due to bugs, connectivity/activation issues, etc.  This shouldn't be an issue with Origin as it isn't nearly as bad as other services.  But these things have happened before...

I've been looking forward to this game so long..but I suddenly have to move this month and all my gaming equipment will be packed up and I have too much stuff to do

 

the first thing getting set up in my new place is the gaming equipment though.  No question. Just me sitting in a vacant apartment playing dragon age.

I am leaving for vacation right on 18th of November.(

On the other hand, maybe it will already be a patch or at least hotfix for the most serious bags on my return.

Well, I don't normally believe in sharing the random details of my life on the internet, but for DAI I'll make an exception.

 

I was about to be a part of this inconsolable group, my circuit breaker is super old and dieing, and my electrician recommended keeping power usage to a minimum until it can replaced (lest it start an electrical fire). However, a second licensed electrician came by and said we were fine for a few months and we could use normal electricity levels until it is replaced. So for 1 day I was super depressed (I had already taken a few days off work to play, and the circuit breaker wouldn't be fixed until the week after), but now I am even happier, because I can now play for hours and hours!!!!

But I have too much work to do, so maybe thurs night.

I'm still in highschool, and my parents don't let me play video games during the week. Even though I'm getting the game on the 18th, i have to wait until Friday the 21st to even open it. The game will just be sitting on my dresser until then.....mocking me....

Technically some regions are unlocked around the 17th (at a late time for me) so, that is when I'll try to be playing. However I am still not finished with my fresh DA O and 2 playthrough.

If anyone is waiting, play through the original games again for a bit.

I won't be able to play until I finish work at 3.30pm on the 21st, but at least then I'll have the whole evening and weekend to enjoy it.

I wont get to play it on day of release, doubt I will even be able to pick it up..... Will have to see. Though I will have 4 days off to play it.

Origin tells me I can start playing at 11pm on the 19th, but I've got a uni exam next day so I won't be playing until next night.

 

Said exam is my last before summer hols though, so free and clear to play as much as I want after that!

I'm in the same boat! Comes out on the 20th here and I have my uni exams on the 21st and 22nd. Seriously, just my luck.
