well I wont be able to play til week of thanksgiving because I got the inquisitor edition n didn't want to pay $20 for day 1 shipping. Did it to myself, but really bummed now. I'll be in next week sometime

That happened to me when Mass effect 3 was released. Sucks.

Technically I should only be able to play it on the 20th (since I'm from Europe). However, I COULD play it on the 17th by using VPN but my desktop pc broke down on me almost two weeks ago and I just called the store to know if it will be fixed by Monday and alas, it probably won't. It could take another week (or more) to be ready, so I don't even know when I'll be able to play, which is worse than anything!   All I can do is wait for that phone call, "Your PC is ready!" 

 

 

My prayers have been heard because I just got a message saying my pc is ready! I'm picking it up tomorrow morning and I'll start playing as soon as I get home.

I'll be asleep when it releases. I might be able to slip a little time in to play it when I wake up before I have to head out for the day.

Sitting at work, chomping at the bit, then I have to go home and spend time with my SO and son, then once he is asleep I have to put in my t25 time, then FINALLY I WILL PLAY!

The Digital Deluxe copy is currently downloading to my desktop through Origin, but it isn't available to play until Friday 21st.  Glad I took those days off work though; looking forward to four uninterrupted (except for eating and occasionally sleeping) days in Thedas.

Just found out that Gamestop if doing the midnight release based on the Eastern Time Zone... so that means a 9pm release here in California. Looks like I'll be able to pick it up ASAP after all...

I work tomorrow and ordered from Amazon. Its been shipped and Amazon says it will be here tomorrow evening but UPS tracking info shows expected deliver on Wednesday. I hope the tracking info is wrong and its here tomorrow evening. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Update: Checked the tracking info again. It now shows Scheduled For Early Delivery On Tuesday.

Well, I have classes all day until about 4:30 and my copy won't even arrive until about 8:00 though UPS usually gets it to my apartment before that. Still, I will likely have homework so I may have to push playing until later in the evening.

 

That means I'll likely only have about an hour or two to play before I go to bed. Add the fact that I'll likely spend an hour creating my character. Then, I work all day wednesday and have a class until 9:00 PM and more homework.

 

The way I see it, I won't really be able to dig into the game until thursday afternoon since I don't have any classes or homework for friday to worry about.

The best way to cope with it is to convince yourself--and I mean really convince yourself-- that the release date is actually the 19 and you're getting an early copy tuesday evening
