From what I read you need to be connected when launching Origin and before 99% download. Finish downloading connected via VPN. Once the game is unlocked in S. Korea connect, launch Origin and it should be ok.

Seoul, Korea is +9, and EST is -5. Earlier I read that it unlocks at 4 PM in south Korea on the 17th, which would mean it unlocks at 2 am EST, and even earlier on the west coast. Theoretically, if this information is true, you could be playing it sunday night.

Then do what I'll be doing. Wait until 9pm PST. Connect to South Korea via VPN. Load up Origin. Let it preload for about 100+ MB. Pause download, close origin and VPN. Reload origin and resume the download at your normal internet speed. When the preload is about 98%, pause the download again. Close Origin and start up the VPN. Open Origin and finish the preload through South Korea. The game should now say it will unlock at 7am PST on Monday (11/17). IMPORTANT: If you're going to play DA:I before 9pm PST on 11/17, then you must stay connected to South Korea via VPN while your playing DA:I until 9pm PST.

I'm thinking it is something we're not looking at. I just logged into origin after changing my time zone to Seoul, Korea on my computer clock, and it said that the game would be available for preload on the 15th at 2:00 am or something like that, and available to play at 12:00 am on the 18th. If the way I described above is true that I ought to be able to preload right now, since when I log back in at -5 GMT, it says available for preload 10:00 AM the  14th. If the "Take that time and subtract the 14 hours" method worked right, then I would be able to preload right now. Since it isn't true and doesn't work, it seems like we will be able to play at 10 AM on the 17th, not at like 2 or whenever I originally thought. Make sense, then, that 7 AM would be right for you. So I was just messing up and taking what people  were saying as the "already subtracted" times and subtracting them again.

If i am informed correctly, you can start the game the 1st time via Korea vpn when it is released there. (assumed predownload was succsesfull)

After this the game is unlocked in your origin account. U should be able to play it now without vpn-Korea even if it is not out in your country then.

Am i wrong?

I think the bigger question is will the Keep be live then. On one hand I think it would be a dick move to block all IPs except those from country it has unlocked... on the hand,,, well this is EA

I was able to import a world state for early access. I haven't got far enough in the game to see if it actually worked though, but someone in the EA access thread has confirmed it is working for them.

After connecting with the VPN, I'm posting to confirm the unlock time described above is correct, 7am PST on Monday 11/17.
