Is the connect error message everyone is getting this? "you must be signed into origin to access online features, please go online in the Origin window and try again" as thats what I am getting and I am online in Origin, no keep import or multiplayer for me and my friends works fine!
You shouldn't have any trouble getting into the servers. I signed in while still in VPN. I'd recommend signing into VPN, unlock the game. Then quit and open it without the VPN running.
Worked fine for me I just altabbed reconnected my internet without the vpn and I was good to go.

Yes, its that message, and yes I tried disconnecting the VPN and going back into the game, nothing seems to work. I hope it get fixed with the official release because if it not I am gonna go crazy!
Is the multiplayer working fine with VPN? As in if you start the game with VPN then disconnecting the VPN, can you still play multiplayer or do you have to be offline?

Yeah I'm just trying to figure out why its working for some people and not others, me and my friend used the exact same VPN software as well. I was really excited to play this all day and I really don't want to start without my Keep file so I am re-downloading to see if that helps, but my connection takes like 6 hours to download it, I will update if that does help it at all! If not I guess it will be a wait for Friday job

Try restarting origin after you are sure VPN is connected. If the time table says you stll can't unlock it means your vpn was not set correctly.

That's what I was doing. I followed step-by-step instructions exactly.
It looks like the problem is Origin/EA being a little ******, because I should be able to preload in my normal timezone also... however it is stuck at 'processing' (ie: paid for, but not... shipped yet? wtf)

Now the game is officialy released and the problem is still there, so it looks like it has nothing to do with VPN, we need a dev !!
EDIT: Ok everyone, I was able to fix this problem by uninstalling the origin client, then download it from origin site and installing it again.
