Just a quick update: This does NOT WORK *IF* you are stuck on "Processing" on payment.

 

The solution is to bite the sour apple and go through the painful process of creating a paypal account and use paypal as your payment method. This way there was no processing crap anymore. 

Currently pre-loading. Sorry guys. You HAVE to use paypal payment for it to work if stuck on processing.

I now have 2 canceled pre-orders on my transaction page

I preordered the game on 23.04.2014., and the preload still isn't available, even when using a Korean VPN.

Money has been taken from my account, the paypal transaction is complete,  and the order is still processing under the stipulation that I have been billed but some items are still not available. And I still can't preload. Fun times.

omg its actually working now! yay! Maybe it will work soon for the rest of you as they get around to completing everybodies transactions/ and or "unlocking" some thing or another for those who used pay pal? Btw i used credit card and it works just fine.

since when? using a vpn is bannable if you use it to pay in a different currency, not if youve already bought the game in your own region and currency and just want to unlock it sooner.

question: my origin says it comes out on the 18th at 12 am, so how would I be playing it at 10 AM EST(my time zone) the previous day as others seem to suggest?

use a korean vpn, they get to play the game the earliest, which seems to be from 3pm-4pm the 17th or as early as 10 am for , us/canadians i assume?. Its 4pm for me in sweden,

By using a VPN connected to a Korea to unlock the game because where the game comes out on the 17th over there.

I talked to EA support twice, both times they said I would be banned just for using VPN to access the game earlier. I don't really care, I doubt they'll do it, but...

We won't ban you or take any action if you VPN to unlock things early.

 

That said, please note that we can't assist with issues that might arise from the use of said VPN/proxy.

Seems alot of the Euro folks are able to download now, I guess that's because you guys get it on the 20th and not the 21st? I hope this means us UK lot get our orders finally completed tomorrow!

I am preloading now - at my full available speed even (which isn't that hot to begin with here in the countryside, but still way better than VPN), because the VPN connection bugged out after 1% and Origin switched to my normal connection without any complaint.

Yup, close the VPN after the start of the preload and you can download with full speed.

Preordered the deluxe via origin using paypal - no dice with the VPN. Order has been paid for, but is still "processing" as items haven't been delivered yet (so deliver them to me! Let me download them now!) Can't even cancel and buy from GMG or something, because of the paypal thing.

UK downloads unlock at 5 on Monday, right? I'll stalk my order completion status all weekend and if no luck there, I'll see then whether I can still unlock the early access then, or if I need to reschedule my day off on Tuesday.
