Huh, that is weird. If you rival her then she doesn't stay in Kirkwall (or at least says she isn't going to), but there is no option for that in the Keep...unless they have some dependencies wrong. Anyone import a world state where Aveline abadoned Hawke and get Varric to talk about her? If so what does he say about her?

No Varric just describes them at the moment. Yes Leliana talks about Warden in between her meltdown and if your her friend she writes to you and thats it so far

How would if specify if your were her friend or not? The keep isn't that sophisticated. Also, how early do you get to flirt with Cassandra?

Probably if you did her personal quest or not.

So after the prologue you are placed in front of the Chantry building in Haven. If you enter you get that whole cutscene where Cass introduces the advisers. After that it prompts you to fast-travel to the Hinterlands, but if you stay you can go around Haven and talk to everybody. The first two conversations I had with Cass after the prologue and that intro cutscene had flirt options.

You can ask Leliana about Hawke and she says they only met in passing, but she does talk about the twins coming to the chantry in Lothering. She said Bethany liked her stories. I didn't hear anything about where Carver/Bethany currently are though :/

Could anyone post what Cullen said about his backstory?

He basically says he was at Kirkwall when it all went down, that he has seen what happens when people don't act quick enough throughout his life,That seemed to weigh heavily on him so when Cassandra asked him to join he left the Templars and joined. You get options to explore via dialogue after that and also flirt with him if you want.
This is very early on.

My Bethany was a Grey Warden. When I asked Varric about Hawke's companions,he said that Bethany was doing some Grey Warden business in the Anderfels. Leliana also said a thing or two about the twins Bethany and Carver,but nothing particular.

When I asked her if she met the Hero of Ferelden she said that the Warden is always on her mind. The Warden is apparently on a mission of their own which is the reason they are apart. They make it clear that they are very much still a couple though. She said that as soon as this is all over she will join them for good, and that she has lost nearly everything she loves and won't lose them too.

 

It was really sweet and it was good to see that side of her again, especially after our first two conversations with each other in Inquisition had a lot of anger and yelling...

My guess is Aveline staying depends on whether her quests were done and she married Donnic as, without those, she stuggles under the pressure and doesn't have the support and from what I recall, resigns, staying on only til a replacement can be found after which she'd presumably head back to Denerim to enquire about that offer of re-instatement. I suppose the 'rival' or 'friendship' path of that relationship wasn't considered important enough for inclusion, but to be fair, most of those weren't it seems. Things are just generally assumed off the other choices you make, or ultimately you're still that person's friend, you just weren't always seeing eye to eye (eg. Merril and the Aluvian).

I wonder if you would say that if she cheated on you with an guy Jeff? Just wondering. I for one romanced Morrigan, so personally, I'm cool. Still, surprising she would do that, since if you pull that stunt with her and Morrigan, she gets seriously pissed off.
