With the number of tiles it's tied to and the fact that it still doesn't fucntion properrly, wouldn't it be better just to remove it?

 

There is no need for the tile.

 

Didn't romance Alistar = Warden and Alistar weren't lovers.

Romance Alistar + Warden killed Archdemon = Warden didn't remained Alistar's mistress. 

Romance Alistar + Anora rules alone = Alistar remained with the Warden(s)

Romance Alistar + Alistar's the King = Remained Alistart's mistress.

Romance Alistar + Alistar and Anora rule = Remained Alistart's mistress.

Romance Alistar + Alistar and Warden rule = Warden's Alistar's Queen

Romance Alistar + Alistar and Anora rule + Loghian alive and well/Loghian killed the Archdemon = Warden didn't remained Alistar's mistress (it defaults as Warden and Alistar weren't lovers but that doesn't make sense).

 

Not to mention that the option of Romance Alistar + Alistar died killing Archdemon isn't even properly represented. 

 

If you're not convinced the tile is currently buggy, see for yourself. There are combinations possible like Logian Alive and Well + Remained Alistars Mistress (it default's to other tile but can be easily switched), Warden as Alistars mistress without ever romancing him or even the quite  extraordinary combination of Alistar's severed head remaining with the Warden.

It's a choice in game , so no there's no reason to remove the tile.

You can break up with Alistair or be his mistress when he gets the throne.

Him ruling alone or with Anora doesn't matter.

But the tile just doesn't work right now. There is A LOT of combinations that simply shouldn't be possible thanks to it's nature. In other words it does more bad than good.

the bigger question for me is not to remove it or not but why can't the devs fix the bug

I'm going to take a guess that tile actually impacts DA:I thus they can't remove it.

 

Given your suggestion, if they remove that tile they would have to replace it with a Hardened Alistair tile to take in consideration that the only way to be Alistair's mistress is to be hardened. Also anytime anyone suggests we do something with Alistair, Justin smacks a panda.

Removing it would be easier, I thought about it and my solution to this would be to introduce a "Alistar's the King and Warden's his mistress" next to the "Allistar rules alone" as an option for the "Who rules?" tile. But if it really does impact DA:I and they can't remove it then let's hope they'll fix it in time.

The solution is to FIX THE BUGS not remove the option. It was a legitimate option in the game and should be represented in the Keep.

To add to this list: it's also possible (in the Keep) to be Alistair's mistress without encountering Goldanna, despite Alistair's Family being a required quest for that senario.

My point was, it doesn't need to be there for the options to be represented. I'm not asking for options to be removed, just obsolete tiles. There are dozens wrong combinations with this tile and not a single one of them has been fixed since I got here. And the tile is still missing the "Alistar died" option.
