Yikes. Kind of glad spoilers don't bother me that much. Changed that. However, I do have a totally worst case scenario world state that I will be playing through on my second run.
Now, I keep wondering about some of my other decisions. ![]()

Ah... I thought you knew something about the Architect. I was curious how the decision to let him live will affect me

But I quoted the bit about Corypheus...
But I quoted the bit about Corypheus...
That bit was about both of them. I wanted to say that if Corypheus is in, the Architect should be as well, since they are pretty similar. It would be a bit weird if one was in and the other was not. ![]()
-If your Hawke sided with the mages then the Templars will be executing him
-If your hawke sided with the templars the mages will be executing him.
-If Varric was friends with Hawke and you let the templars/mages execute him when you go on the rescue mission then he will be super pissed and leave the inquisition.
What.. is this about Varric? Or Anders? o.O

A way to finally get rid of Varric you say? Time to let him keep the shard for once.
About the Varric choice.
Oh man can't wait for my 'Darkest Timeline' playthrough, with all the choices I perceived as 'wrong', going from Origins to Inquisition.
Heheh my first playthrough will be with a psycho warden who killed or messed up everyone she could (though the hawke is fairly normal). At some point im gonna swap that up with a normal-ish warden and a nutter hawke. ![]()
Im really looking forward to what leliana and morrigan have to say about the warden, since she stabbed both of em ![]()
I took "Hawke" as the antecedent of "him". In other words, I take this to mean that Hawke gets captured (by which group depends), and a Varric who was befriended by Hawke in DAII doesn't take it too well if the Quizlet fails to rescue Hawke in DA:I...
Thank you, I totally misunderstood the situation.

No problem! It was unclear in context here, but the Hawke rescue mission has also come up on other threads in the spoilers forum.
Ugh, I really need to stop reading spoilers. Can it be Monday night already? (I never thought I'd say that on a Saturday.)
I've been trying to self-regulate but can't help it. I didn't read the whole Varric spoiler but I caught glimpses at the beginning and the end:
My Hawke let Varric keep the shard and I only have one canon play through timeline which I absolutely refuse to change ever as my favorite part about Dragon Age is your world state and choice continuity. Initially he wasn't going to do it but then Varric pulled his whole come on Hawke, it's me, bro stuff on him and he relented, reasoning that it was a pretty small piece anyway and could be lucrative (I was intentionally roleplaying a Hawke who wasn't too bright either).
Varric is one of my favorite characters, so this is going to majorly suck, but in a good way, like the red wedding sucks. And no, I don't mind that this is unavoidable based on your actions in a previous game, this is actually how Bioware should be approaching consequences for choices and I applaud them for doing it. I hope they have more significant consequences (both good and bad) like this for choices you've made in previous games in Inquisition and throughout the rest of the DA franchise.

You get the option to kill the Architect in Awakening, but you don't get the option to kill Cory in Legacy = Cory makes more sense to have in the game since he's currently alive in every possible world state.
Though I'm hoping we'll get to see the Architect again if we spared him, or at least get to meet a talking darkspawn!
here is something which hasn't been talked about, the scroll we give sister justine. In DA:O, we could find some ancient scrolls in the temple of sacred ashes and give them to a sister Justine in Denerim. Considering that the begining of the game occurs around Haven and the temple, I am curious if this might have some impact or effect?
