The modern day rock music ruined it. Never ever put music like that into cinematic fantasy game trailers, its not CoD/Halo.

That said the trailer itself did look good. But please keep Trevor Morris/instrumentals next time!

The CGI looks cool and all but I absolutely hate that music, it just completely ruins the trailer for me. Just... no me gusta.

Yep. Instrumental music would be better. It's more atmospheric and fits better to the scenery. (It's just my opinion. I'm instrumental music/soundtracks fanatic.)

Personally thinks that the song sounds good mostly due to how it sounds heavy Depeche Mode-inspired, mixed with the ambience of Trent Reznor. 

No idea who the band is though.

electro music in a fantasy epos is a very cool and creativ idea. I am glad that bioware do this.

I remamber when all have cried that DA:O was kind of Lords of Ring style (with sounds) Now Bioware has a new style found for Dragon Age.

I liked it a lot, even though I had a flashback of a certain DAO trailer when I heard the music start. The words suit the story, and while I wouldn't want it in-game, I liked it the same way I liked the credit songs for DAO and DA2. Trevor Morris' soundtrack sounds fantastic, but there's room for a different style, as long as it shares a spirit.

 

Bottom line: Hype train is at terminal velocity!

Bleh, music like that in fantasy trailers doesn't fit at all. I enjoyed it more after I muted it.

 

I loved that the abilities they showed- giant throwing boulder, shattering frozen enemies with a warrior, Cole popping out of stealth, and Mark of the Rift- are all possible in-game. Bioware trailers and cinematics otherwise have a way of segregating story and gameplay.

Oh we know who they are, they just don't exist outside of a very specific search which leads to their facebook page (The Phantoms This is How it Should Be). 

The Phantoms - "Into the Darkness" is the song in the trailer.
