So I've been playing Early Access for about 5 hours on Xbox One.  I'm playing the Deluxe edition in case that matters.  I got killed by a Fire Demon and when I pressed "Continue" to load my last save my game crashed.  I quit the app and tried to reload the game but it just freezes at the screen with the Inquisition icon in the lower right.  So I quit the app again and rebooted my console.  Now I can get to the main menu screen but when I press the menu button it just freezes.  I've done this multiple times and the same thing happens.  Can I expect that this will be resolved with the day one patch or do I need to go ahead and try reinstalling the game?

I would try deleting eveything and re-installing the game, sounds like there is an Error in your game files.

 

Then Again I am no expert on the matter, I can only say what works as a general rule of thumb.

Reinstalling should fix it.

Thanks for the replies.  FYI for anyone who has similar issues the Xbox One stores your save files on the cloud.  There's an option in settings to delete the local copy of your saves which forces the game to reconnect to the cloud and retrieve the saves again.  This fixed my problem.  Only issue is that it appears to only pull down saves you manually made.  So my play through was a couple of hours behind where I actually was.  This could also be the result of it not pulling down any corrupted saves I had.  Either way just wanted to share in case it helps someone else.
