The companions were done easily enough but when try to do the inquisitor I just get small black flickery boxes at the bottom of the screen.

Inquisitors Quest wouldn't work for nothing on IE.
I downloaded Chrome, and it worked perfectly the first time.
I was using my Iphone as a hot spot too.
I would recommend Chrome for an easy solution.

I still have the same bug as long ago with this. All are unlocked but its not possible to click on the Inquisitor... says weapon pack under him. All 9 items found, cant do anything about it.

Managed to obtain the three weapons in-game this evening; only thing is, while the staff and dagger are still very usable by my companions the sword has long since been surpassed by more mundane longswords that I'd previously found beforehand. Which means, while there's no storage chest to stash it in, it's gonna have to get sold.

So I completed the quest but still don't have the DLC. However I saw this on the DA:I Wiki Page for the quest "Note: Be sure to log into your Origin account before starting the game so that the reward DLC will link to your account successfully" 

I didn't log into my account until after I'd completed the video. Can anyone confirm this? And if that is the case, what do I do now?

Mine didn't arrive instantly either. I gave it a couple of days, then suddenly there was an exclamation mark on the map, in the undercroft. I went there, and hey presto :-)

as for me I did everything on the first try but the very last red lyrium thing in the last videos refuses to work the first two did just the very last one makes no sense I get it then I just get a big exploration mark in the middle of my screen. I honestly want to go down to bio and give someone a slap.

This is annoying as all get out and has really ruined my night with frustration.  On Firefox, I could only get the middle weapon to unlock.  In Firefox or Chrome (having to start from scratch, even), even when dragging and dropping, the first one either does nothing at all or shows up "light" and then fades away.  Very, very frustrated and upset I spent this much time for nothing, even if they suck.

Please do not EVER do something like this again.

 Well I can watch the first video for each companion but once I get to the inquest it's just a basic image with a little green smokey square with an arrow moving around. Nothing to click on. Am I doing something wrong or is this broken...?

Meh. Its no big loss if you don't get them. By the time I got the items in Skyhold, all my existing weapons were significantly better.

Way to go Bioware, unlocked all three weapons in Inquisitor but only displays 2/3 unlocked and the bar no longer appears. Morons

After completing my first campaign I finally decided to acquire these just for kicks. Now I'll see what they can do

I was extremely frustrated but finally got it to work. Pain in the arse. Badly programmed, unstable and awkward to maneuver.

Try different browser. For me it doesn't work with Firefox but does work with IE.

Does not work on Firefox for me at all (cookies enabled, addblock turned off ), the quest did not even start.

 

Then on Explorer the companions quests worked fine, but the inquisitor is completely bugged:

just a black flickering box where the quest meter/bar should be, after many times of trying sometimes I get a  glimpse of the ball you`re supposed click but it`s only a flash.

Most of time refreshing the page after each attempt helps with that. That's how I managed to finish it.

Definitely use Chrome if you can, Bioware seems to favor that browser when developing web content.

Hi Thanks both Chardonney & Etragorn Though even refreshing page did not help me with Firefox or IE - but Yesh, installed and tried out on Chrome and it worked!

Got my weapons, around right level for them too. Cheers!
