Wow... My first post on the BioWare forum since the ME2 days... Anyhow... No review, preview, hands on or rumours article has enlightened us on how its gonna look for us PS3 / 360 users. As with other generation-straddling games (AC4, Battlefield 4, etc...) I'm sure gameplay/plot elements will be identical, with the only really noticeable change being the graphics/sound. That much goes without saying. Just wondering if anyone has a thought on other potential differences?

I hate how there is nothing about older gen. I would just like to see how the game will look in my console before getting it but too much to ask I guess

 

I'm little nervous since I have notices that in PC with lower graphs the hair is very shiny :S I hope that is not case with older gen.

I mean it IS Frostbite 3, a phenomenal engine. Battlefield 4 looks great on last gen and that uses F3. There's the smallest difference with that game on ps4 and ps3. Plus BioWare have stated that they are pushing the old consoles to their limit. I reckon it'll turn out well. But I am also slightly nervous at the lack of coverage. I mean, just give us ONE screenshot, devs...

I just hope that game wont look like low setting on PC. I know they want to show DAI on the best side but stil this luck of information about PS3/Xbox360 version is really getting on my nerves...

My main problems are still-slightly-too-shiny hair (though not near as bad as low PC setting), over shiny lips, pop-in for small stuff like bushes, and blocky blood spatter. Hopefully this stuff will get fixed by a patch or the PS3 version will lack some of these problems (I own both consoles and can buy whichever I want).

I have been playing UrAvgGamer's 360 videos along side an xbox1 video of the first hour of gameplay.  So I am watching the same battles and conversations at the same time.  The good thing I do see, is that the actual combat looks identical, I don't notice much difference between the two.  Walking through the environments, I see some details differing but not a deal breaker.

 

What has me concerned are how the different the characters look in conversation.  That Chantry guy that accuses you of being a murderer, his face would pop in and out of detail and his ears were actually popping outside of his hood.  The characters faces looked a bit muddy in comparison to me compared to the xbox1 version.  For me, these things are disappointing since I am playing this game for the story and not the graphics but the graphics look noticeable worse in the STORY bits.
