I wish we had all the info on Templar tree. Currently it seems the most boring/vanilla out of any Specialization from all three games.
Maybe when we see all the tree my opinion will change.

If you look in the skill tree thread I think you can see the whole thing there.
All of the advancements and one passive are still missing.
I hope they are real good.

Could you please provide a link? Im a lore nutter and currently obsessed with seekersIt's weird, because in a conversation I saw with Cassandre (not spoilery, it's at the beginning of the game) she says that her Seeker powers are specifically created to fight demons, which seems to fit the powers we see in the Templar tree more than the usual Templar abilities to me. Maybe they should have renamed it the Seeker tree and have Cass teach you?

Probably because it focuses on the party rather than the individual. As a guy who used to play Cleric or Paladin in DnD I'm excited.
hmm....yeah......I wouldn't have minded that. in fact, would have loved if they combined Templar and Spirit Warrior into one spec and then perhaps name that Seeker?
ah, I see. I'll check it out. thanks.
Seconded. Seeker class would be cool...not that I mind Templar, but seeker would sound like an even more specialized Templar ![]()
The human warrior Inquisitor has a backstory that their noble family was sending them off to the Templars. You're basically an Alistair.
For that background at least the Templar abilities without lyrium addition might make sense. You're a Templar recruit who learned the skills of the trade, but who wasn't with the Templars long enough to have developed any bad side effects.

That was my conclusion has well. This look a lot more like a Seeker than a Templar tree.
Relevant question: I do NOTTTTT see one passive that the Templar has on the skill list.
What is this skill!?!??!?

what's the best way to clarify how the skill work?
right now I'm very curious and it seems we can get replies only via twitter, right?
I am so excited to have Cassandra be my buffing Paladin princess.

I think the passive is when you go down, your allies get a boost to attack or something like that.
Have you seen the upgrades for the Templars active abilities yet?
No we haven't.
Someone posted a screenshot of the blessed blades update.
If I remember correctly it reduced cooldown but now that I'm thinking about it it's strange since Blessed Blades has 24 secs duration and 24 secs cooldown????

It reduces the cooldown of two of the Templar's other abilities.
I really quite like the idea of going Templar for my first runthrough. But I also want to be a warrior Dwarf. And I can't work out whether magic-resistant Dwarves having Templar powers is a contradiction in the game's lore.
Anyone else have thoughts on this?
(Though, to be fair, I do recognise DA really is bad at knitting lore and gameplay so I'm not sure why this one specifically bugs me...)

really?
That'd be cool

Dwarves can be Templars. I think there was a Templar Dwarf in Last Flight.

Awesome, thanks! That's good enough for me.
