Okay, so I pre-ordered the Deluxe Edition for PC at EB Games and recently I'm starting to fear that I may not get the Deluxe Edition physically, thus resulting in the same fiasco when I tried to get the Mass Effect 3 Collector's Edition (but couldn't get it, forcing me to get the digital deluxe edition of ME3 - long story). I tried reasoning that the reason why the Deluxe Edition PC had disappeared from EB Games' website is because they're wrapping up the pre-orders, also that I got the Signature Edition for Dragon Age II. But then I search on the Dragon Age website, only to find that for the PC pre-order, they only have the standard and Digital editions. I really want the physical Deluxe edition for PC and all the gear that comes with it. Can anyone help me out? I just don't want to feel cheated.

I had just checked that. It may give me some relief, but i need to be sure that EB Games has physical copies of the Deluxe Edition for PC in stock

Did you call your local EB Game store to find out for sure? They might have an answer.

I ordered a physical DE off Amazon. They can't advertise a physical copy if they're not selling it. I'd imagine EB Games is doing the same. I'm pretty sure a Bioware dev on here always explained the physical edition DRM in that you install it from the disc, activate it on Origin and it does a one time online activation verification. That pretty much confirms physical PC copies exist. If they didn't, Amazon would email me about a cancellation in the order.

Do you mean deluxe edition or collectors edition? The deluxe edition only comes with a few extra in game items and the soundtrack, there is literally no difference between the physical and digital deluxe editions. If you mean the collectors edition, that only comes in physical form, there is no digital collectors edition.

I pre-ordered the Deluxe Edition off EB Games, as I want a physical copy. I'm trying to rationalize as I got the Signature Edition of Dragon Age II 3 years ago that I will get this too

It really depends on when you ordered the DE for PC.  Because the stores only get a very limited number of DE Physical copies, whether you get one or not really all depends entirely on when you made your pre-order.  I made my pre-order last year (2013) the very day that pre-ordering ever became an option and I'd put a deposit down at my local store guaranteeing my copy. Ive done the same for ME2 and 3 and Dragon Age II and so I've never had any problems obtaining my copy.

They stopped taking orders for the Deluxe Edition a long while back....I can't say for certain, but it's my guess they only take preorders for CEs and DEs for maybe the first 6 weeks, (or longer dpeneding on how many copies your local store has in stock).

That being said within this last 2 months if you're looking to make your pre-order now, hoping/expecting to find a DE (physical copy), I'm 95% certain you won't find any and if you do happen to find it on places like Amazon or Ebay or other online wholesalers, the price will be super expensive because of the very limited quantity at this time.

I am sorry for your situation, it sucks, I know.  But perhaps this can be a lesson learned to make pre-orders for games (ones that are on your MUST PLAY List) within the first week that pre orders are announced.

Best of Luck and Happy Gaming, no matter the version of the game that you wind up with.

Boxed deluxe edition is a gamestop exclusive if i remember correctly, thus nearly impossible to obtain outside the US market, not a smart move, i hope there will be an upgrade option, i want those goodies.

Okay everyone, perhaps I should clarify on why I started this threat.

On the Dragon Age wiki, someone had written out on the Deluxe Edition article that it wasn't for PC (which means the edit was done recently) and for some reason it sent me into a panic. Now that little detail has been corrected, my anxiety is at ease, so forget all about it.

I have a physical PC Deluxe Edition pre-ordered at my local Gamestop, so they exist.
