Winter with a bit of Spirit. Seems like a perfect mix for the way I hope to play my Knight Enchanter.

Winter because the spells look more useful.

I'm planning a Knight Enchanter with Winter and a dip into Spirit and Storm.

I plan on splitting my focus between Winter and Storm, with some Rift Mage thrown in.

KE + Spirit + Winter

Storm Knight Enchanter with a little bit of Winter thrown in there. I always go for lightning in a game because I like to be Raiden.

Will make for one hell of a melee build too. Knight Enchanter has a passive that regens barrier for each kill and damages enemies who hit your barrier. So as long as you get the kills, your barrier should stay up for a while. Fade Step will be like your Biotic Charge to get to enemies faster.
Yup. Toss in the qunari racial (10% melee dmg resistance) and she'll be getting nice and cozy in the thick of the fight. ![]()
And that passive that generates barrier, Fade Shield, it's not on kill... it's 'any successful attack' feeds 30% of dmg done into barrier ![]()

I'm thinking of making a tankish support mage, with KE + spirit + Winter, with maybe a few points in Storm to get passives and/or in case of cold immune foes.

Frost seems like it synergizes best with Knight Enchanter with the fade step. I'm hyped for my blitzing ice cow.

Spirit, for my supporty Knight Enchanter. Probably throw some frost in there for good measure. Can't wait!

I was always partial to lightning and ice (the last one being a bit weird since I typically hate the cold). Cone of Cold is one of my favorite spells. Lightning has nice aesthetics.
I think I will have a token fire spell, a couple ice, some lightning, and mostly spirit and necro.

In honor of freezing my ass off in Alberta this winter, I'm gonna go with the winter tree.

Inferno+Necromancy for my Dalish Pyromancer. Extra points will dip into spirit and storm!

In DA:O I always went with Cold magic, that cone of cold was invaluable so I could freeze the fudge out of people.

Male Dalish (Rift Mage) - Inferno and Winter
Dorian (Necromancer) - Storm and Spirit
Vivienne (Knight Enchanter) - Winter and Storm
Solas (Rift Mage) - Spirit and Inferno
So they are all slightly different which will be good for me. The first one will be their main one (and their specialisation tree) then I will also unlock powers from the second trees as well.

Always been a fan of ice magic for some reason, so very likely this will be my first mage.

Oh Geez same here.In honor of freezing my ass off in Alberta this winter, I'm gonna go with the winter tree.
But I was going with the whole Elsa theme instead.

I'm gonna go storm first and then inferno until I get the specialization. I'm planning necromancer but will take rift mage if necro is not available for me when the chance for specialization appears.
Storm is so "medieval Sith"-like ![]()
