We joked around the office that we should have shirts "It's been 10 hours and I am still in the Hinterlands." There's a lot to do there for sure (important to note that you are free to leave the area and do crit path/other areas if you get tired of it)
Can I hug the entire game staff?
This is something that I dislike in games even if you get board with one area you can't leave until the story is done

I had trouble with the Rift in Dwarfson's Pass...and the dragon....I had no trouble running from the dragon though.
Haha! As soon as I realised I was heading into dragon territory I promptly turned around and got the hell out of there. No way my lvl 5 party was ready for that ![]()

Why would you ever want to leave the Hinterlands?
Clearly Bioware is telling us that the Inquisition needs to only defend the Hinterlands and everything will work out, no wonder we have to do so much work in the damned place : 3
Seriously though, everything I've seen looks beautiful in terms of art direction ,so a big cheers to the art team.
Hell, big ups to the entire team for everything they've done since development started. This is my game of the year and I dont feel anything could take its place. ![]()

I was about two thirds of the way through the Hinterlands when I ran out of time, but that was with spending next to no time in the character creator.....which means I'll probably restart once I get the game.
I'd say a more usual playthrough for me would be one hour on the character creator, one hour on the prologue, one hour in haven (mainly talking to the NPCs) before heading into the hinterlands, so normally I'd still be finishing off the hinterlands after 10 to 11 hours of gameplay......that is not counting the war table missions I couldn't complete due to the trial restrictions.
