I really hope those first dialogues were Leliana speaking in a hopeless emotion of what just occurred and not her true ideals. I really don't want to see a crisis of faith being part of Leliana's arc since I find those so lame. Do you happen to know what she says if she romanced the warden?

I found Leiliann's conversation to be one of the most illuminating of the inner workings and goings on of the DA universe that I have ever heard.  Very interesting indeed.  And also seems to confirm many of my theories about where DA was going since Origins and where Inquisition may be heading.  Its going to be interesting for people who do not want to be an 'agent of the church' and while I am sure that is very true the question is will you be an agent of change and reform, or will you be an agent of...spite.  But that is just my thought.  

 

As for her 'atheism' I do not find her thoughts atheistic, just simply a matter of a crisis of faith, one the entire world may be going through and she could be representative of that.

Ahhhhh, I'm so torn. I want to avoid Cullen's introduction, but I want to know how he rebuffs the male Qunari Inquisitor. Can someone spoiler tag the conversation between the two for me?

I really enjoyed Leli and Cullens early convos. Cass is so tsun and sassy,  I'm loving it.

The inquisitor begins to flirt but doesn't finish the branching flirt option in a way that expresses romantic interest in Cullen. He feels Cullen out with a, "So did you leave anyone special behind in Kirkwall?" And when Cullen says no and that he never looked for love there - the inquisitor backs off the next available flirt option and instead says something along the lines off, "So you're not looking now either?" Cullen says no and they move on to the next topic.

short answer, Cullen said he was too dedicated to the Inquisition for something like love to take his attentions away. There's more detail than that to his feelings throughout the rest of the conversation but I figure you'd like to read the in-depth version yourself

 

 

Is it just me or does Josephine sound like a female version of Zevran? The pauses, the enunciation, the speech patterns, sound exactly like him. I know they're not the same voice actor, but if they (Bware) are trying to maintain a link between speech and place of origin, they're doing a great job.

Maybe it is possible to completely remake the Chantry by the end of the game. Leliana's conversation gives me hope.

And she's rather icy now! The inquisitor asked about sharing a few bard stories and she snarked about finding some in the library to read. Damn. A reaction worlds away from the warmly recited campfire tales of DA:O.

I really love how your companions can disapprove if you choose to flirt them in an inappropirate manner. It's a good change from ALWAYS YES TO FLIRTING in DA2.

I think this may be a sign that I need sleep, but while watching one of the videos, a conversation wheel popped up and I moused over to make the selection, and started wondering why my game froze when I clicked the mouse button.

 

I then remembered that I was watching a Youtube video and when I clicked the mouse button, the video paused.

Leliana is having a serious crisis of faith, and is nowhere near as cheerful as back in Origins (her reaction to you wanting stories out of her is telling). I think I actually like her more that way.

 

Cullen is surprisingly OK with mages despite serving as a Templar for a decade, during which he was captured and tortured by some while also seeing others blow up half of Kirkwall. Good to see he's level-headed and competent.

 

I like Josephine already, she seems the most competent of all three advisor to me. Also, she seems like a total Varric fangirl, and I can respect that.

Damn,never thought i would take a liken to Cullen of all people . Cassandra is still amazing, no surprise there.

I like the vids, it just bothers me some all the times he stands there before picking a comment or before talking to them after a segment. The videos could be a few minutes shorter if they didn't stand there so long.

Another thing I like about Cullen is he is showing some regret over what happen in kirkwall and ho9w he makes it clear he does not approve of what the order is doing right now.

I kind of like him too! I like most that he now knows that he was a huge ******* in Kirkwall and that he should have acted sooner against Meredith. Exactly what I wanted him to say. I hope he mentions Kirkwall more later to my mage inquisitor - but I personally appreciate what he said in the first convo. I still disagree with him on quite a few things but I know that I won't immediately write him off like I thought I might going into the game.
