Now that a bunch of information is out and release is right around the corner I just wanted to see what people will be making and what everyone's favorite specializations are. It's nothing fancy, only survey monkey, and the free version is pretty limited so I apologize ahead of time.

Thanks! Click here for the survey.

Edit: Freaking survey monkey only lets you see result data for over 100 if you pay... sorry. It wasn't like this back in my day. Ah well, we have a generally good idea of popularity with the sample size. Thanks so much!

Im going for Warior->Reaver at first, then a Mage-KE second play through.  KE seems to just be levels above all else from the videos I've seen. Its not just a buff here or there (like Templar), its full beast mode.

Reminds me of the Awakening specializations, which were all and somewhat game breaking.

Dwarf male two-handed warrior. But I honestly cannot decide which of the three specializations I want to use.

Female mage absolutely. I hope to find the necromancer specialization but rift mage will also do.

Human male two-handed Warrior, Templar specialization - "sharing" it was Cass, or rather being complementary of each others route, so no doubles.

Favorite Mage specialization: Knight Enchanter, easily.

Favorite Rogue specialization: Tempest.

So if I'm doing my math correctly, artificer is set to be the least popular spec in the game.

at least I know one aspect of my game won't be the same as everyone else's.

Female human dual wielding assassin first, female elven rift mage next depending on what I find during the first playthrough.

Human knight enchanter. I was planning to make human rift mage first, but after seeing KE and RM skill trees I've changed my mind. KE is awesome.

Every time in the past that this question has come up I've given the same answer, rogue with assassin spec.  But all the twitch livestreams have changed my mind.  Definitely going to roll a mage with the knight enchanter spec.

I think.

Maybe.

This is all strange and new to me!  The silver tongued, locking picking, princess stabbity rogue canon character has been such a staple as my canons of the Dragon Age series but mages just look fun this time around.

About a quarter of the player base are going to be KEs at this rate!

I'm leaning towards the Rift Mage at the moment, although I might change once I get a better look at the skills in game.

In my second playthrough I'm pretty set on making an Assassin, it sounds right up my alley.

Qunari Rift Mage! I considered going KE but it just seems too obvious for a Qunari, you know? Plus it seems like rift mage might have some force mage folded into it and that was the best specialization ever, so...

Also, Reaver and Tempest are the best warrior/rogue specs because non-mage magic is great.

Checking the results people seems to like to play Mage with swords, frenzied Warriors or backstabbing Assassin. They should create a class called DPS with a Mage/Warrior/Rogue spécialisation and be done with it :-) .

Female human mage focused in Ice and Storm with some Rift Mage as well.

I like Necomancer too, though...just not for my first playthrough.
