Picked KE.  If I had to guess why the results are the way they are, KE is crushing the other two because it's the most new/different other than necromancer, which has a taint of disappointment to it for some folks (no minions, not a criticism).  Even Necro has some repeat abilities compared to KE which is mostly fresh.  People seem to be really stoked about KEs and as someone said, I wouldn't be surprised if KE ends up being the #1 most played class.  The Mage and KE dominance in this, admittedly non-scientific poll is pretty overwhelming.

For Warrior it's all mostly repeat stuff which is why I think the spread is more even.

Rogues are more interesting.  The specs with the newest mechanics, Tempest and Artificer, are getting crushed by the repeat spec, Assassin, despite all three being dps focused.  I think this is mostly due to, again, disappointment with those specs as opposed to excitement over Assassin.

That's my take on it at least.

Definitely a male qunari Mage with the biggest beard you can have
Also I'm gonna be rift mage because I don't really like the sound of the others

Hopefully the popularity of KE will open up hybrid specs for other classes in the future.

About a quarter of the player base are going to be KEs at this rate!

Eh. BSN has a Mage bias.

I think the wider audience is more spread out. Rogue is usually the one lagging behind, but Mage and Warrior are a more even split in demographic.

Warrior>Reaver will be my main.

Though not my first choice, I really really wanted the dual wield warrior Reaver/Berserker like in DA:O, was my favorite class by far, so fast and quick, played nothing like a rogue and still not available :(.

I'm going with a Human Male Mage for my first play-through,then a male Rogue on my second. More than likely I'll be a Female Qunari on my third, not sure the class yet... Side-note: I'm going to try to be as evil as I possibly can and still romance someone, should be fun. :D

Once a mage, always a mage. My male qunari mage will be a rift mage, along with spirit magic and some fire magics here and there.

Start a bunch of half-role-playing, half-serious threads on various forums about how evil the Chantry and Templars are for oppressing you Mages. Then start a bunch about how special you Mages are, and how they deserve to rule over the masses of pathetic Mundanes who dare to oppress you  Mages.

Female, elf, two-handed warrior.

I have always played rogues (even back when all I had was a table and a handful of dice).  But the first character I actually managed to endgame DA:O with was a female elf warrior, so it has a special place for me.  As I was playing through, there was this one moment in one of the cut scenes, where she was standing just in front of Sten, and I fell in love with her.  Here was this tiny, tattooed elf in full plate with a battle axe literally twice the width of her hips, sparking with lightning, and she didn't even stand up to his shoulder... I laughed so hard at the discrepancy (and absurdity) in that image.  Head cannon plays a lot into this, too, though...  In my mind she was a frightening little thing that would sooner kick your a** as try diplomacy.

KE is basically the Jedi class, so no wonder it's popular.

I'm leaning towards Dagger Artificer, and hoping that the quizzy gets a different Focus skill to Varric's 'Hail of Arrows'. Assassin looks very powerful with its auto-crit from Stealth, but with Dorian in the party keeping my targets panicked I think I'll get all the crits I need from that. I think the Artificer's 'Throw Everything' and 'Fallback Plan' have the making of a great combination.

Female Qunari Inferno Necromancer

I wanted to make sure just about every possible NPC has a potential issue with me. Qunari/Tal-Vashoth, Mage, Necromancer - all things the people of Thedas can take issue with. Also, the Inferno-Necromancer means I'll be terrifying on the battlefield. Literally. Enemies are gonna be panicking left, right, and centre. It's gonna be amazing  :D
