I killed the council but only because I wasn't willing to sacrifice thousands so that three politicians may live.

Yep, on my renegade playthrough I did both, IIRC. Actually I killed the council on my paragon playthrough as well. For the same reason as mentioned above.,.practicality.

I finally completed three playthroughs on my PC which I will use for importing.

The first has the Rachni Queen dead and the council dead, the second has the Rachni Queen alive and the council alive, the third has the Rachni Queen alive and the council dead. And yes, they are all Paragon (100%). Neither of which picked the 'all human council' option either.

I sacrificed the Council and replaced them with a new council except with a human chair member, but saved the Rachni Queen.

First time, yes. I was playing a renegade. At the end, I really didn't want to let the Council die, but I was a few points short of 75%, and I hoped letting them die would get me the achievement (but I still didn't have enough).

Second playthrough, I played as a paragon and chose all the paragon options. That's the one I'm going to import.

I have 2 playthroughs ready for ME2 - in both I save the council, but one of them i killed the Rachni queen and in the other I didnt.

Yeah kind of wish I had let them die in my renegade palythrough, I just wasnt too keen on having an all human council dominating the galaxy.  Plus the Destiny Acension is uber-super-mega huge, so it is possible the lives lost in saving it would hopefully not been that much more than those lost if I had let it be destroyed.

I have my Renegade femShep that killed everyone I was given a chance to kill, my Paragon femShep let everyone live and saved the council, and my other two played it by ear, and both ended up picking the neutral (though no less lethal LOL) option at the end.

I let the Rachni live, with the expectation that she would uphold her debt to me at some point.

The council I killed, and I elected Udina to be Chancellor/Chairman.

I always let the Queen go free. I think I killed the Council on my Paragon character. Grated all my characters come out Paragon.

anyone who killed the Queen I feel sorry for you. becuase i know deep down there will be a part in ME3 or 2 where the Queen sends Rachni to save you if you let her go.

Given we make the choice not knowing the outcome (both results in success obviously), its not really the case of thousands of life, rather all life.  If the reapers succeeded in breaking through, the council and the ascension along with everyone else would most likely be dead anyways.

So obviously, I chose to not help them, although I did save the rachni queen which probably wasn't the most logical choice.
