Do you have a free vpn client which allows to connect permanently to a south korean server?

Do not pause the download before disconnecting from the VPN. Just disconnect while it is downloading. Worked here atleast

I think it's because you're pausing the download , just disconnect the VPN.

Yeah, it should be on the 17th. Well, that's how it worked for me, at least.

 

Whether or not that'll actually work on release is a different matter, but worth the shot, I suppose.

Is it necessary to preload the game using a VPN to actually play the game using the VPN when it comes out on the 18th? I mean I can preload it on Monday in EU, before it's released in US.

The VPN simply circumvents the timer. It does not change any content of the game files. You should be able to wait until normal pre-load time, then use VPN to play.

Important: When you want to play it, connect to the south korean VPN. THEN you start Origins. After Origins is started with the VPN, start the game - still with VPN. When you are inside DA:I , disconnect the VPN. If I got it right, using VPN each time you want to play is ONLY needed until your regular release date. Hope that helps

I preordered mine using paypal and it's still not processed. I don't want to cancel then reorder because they won't refund me instantly and I don't have the money in my account to have two amounts out at a time.

Well that was a waste of time. He said if its showing as processed it means EA haven't had the money. I told him it was paid on Paypal on the 27th of October and the funds came out my bank account on the 29th so that was concerning. He didn't care. Said it 'wouldn't be long' which was just putting me off quite frankly. They said the billing of the account only happened a week before release which was yesterday (and rubbish since the money was out weeks ago). He said to contact back tomorrow if it's still not completed so I guess I'll have to wait.

For those that used paypal with that not working either... what is your paypal account payment method?

Mine worked instantly, I chose card payment. Seems like paypal charge my credit card directly. However, there is a "deposit funds" option in paypal aswell. Maybe this is causing the problem?

I contacted the support via live chat and the guy told me that there was an error that delayed my payment (he didn't elaborate on it) and that he resolved it for me - when I checked back an hour later, the status had already changed to "completed" and I could preload it without any issues.

So instead of just waiting, you should really contact the support if you haven't done so already.

FWIW I pre-ordered at the end of September via Paypal (Using actual funds in my paypal account as opposed to any card method) and even though the money was taken from my account it was still showing as "Processing" last night. I hopped on chat only to be told there was an issue with the order and that I had to have a refund and re-order the game again. The chat person was vaguely helpful (Although slightly patronizing) and said that my second pre-order had gone through fine even though it was still, again, showing as processing. Was told to wait 24 hours before it would say completed. As of now it's still processing so I guess I'll have to wait and see. They don't really seem to know what is going on to be quite honest.
