The VPN simply circumvents the timer. It does not change any content of the game files. You should be able to wait until normal pre-load time, then use VPN to play.

Important: When you want to play it, connect to the south korean VPN. THEN you start Origins. After Origins is started with the VPN, start the game - still with VPN. When you are inside DA:I , disconnect the VPN. If I got it right, using VPN each time you want to play is ONLY needed until your regular release date. Hope that helps :)

Thank you! :)

Mind changed from processing to completed. Pre-load is now available.

Now.... to figure out why it says 18th instead of 17th for the Korean VPN I'm using.

Totally getting fobbed off here. Order is fine allegedly, he "checked".

"Order is being processed, it will be completed soon hopefully"

When I pressed him on why some people in my region had completed orders and some had not, he just kept reading from the script - "Order is being processed, it will be completed soon hopefully"

Not a lot I can do now other than wait and hope :(

No, Amit.

I'm consoling myself that non VPN preload starts for me on 17th so if all is well I should complete tomorrow at least. Might be able to get the game installed and just VPN to play on Monday.

If I can play on Friday I'll be fine. I'm just annoyed that some people are having their payment processed before others, even those who paid afterwards.

Thats exactly what I said to the EA guy. No begrudgment towards those players of course, just can't work out how that works. Even more annoying because they've sat on my money for 2 months.

"Thank You. As I see in our database, your order for Dragon Age Inquisition is perfectly fine however, to save you from any further hassle I have added a strong note to your case so that the payment goes through."

LOL@strong note....

Just to add as an information, I had ordered it back in August, paying via PayPal through my main credit card, and it was processed and billed the very same moment I clicked to confirm the purchase.

As I started this morning (a few hours ago, as not it's 15:04 over here) I still have 9 hours left of download with my slow connection + the Origin Digital Deluxe DLCs.

The main game download itself, in English language and text, is of 23.81Gb

Edit: screenshot if needed.

I bought the preorder last night, UK here. Still says payment processing and I paid with a debit card. It says on their FAQ that payments with credit cards take a day to go through, maybe that's the same with debit as well. I hope so because I have terribly slow internet and I want to preload with a VPN already!!

*sigh* I'm not having any luck. DA:I is still greyed out on my games tab of Origin - the VPN is working, as the store page is in Korean and it says the preload began on the 14th. When I go to my account, it says DA:I is "processing", with the description saying that I've been billed but it just hasn't been delivered. And apparently, I can't cancel and reorder as I didn't use a credit card (I used PayPal)...

Welcome to the club.I've spoken with a couple of representatives from EA support, and all i got is that it should be completed "soon" or when the game releases(probably means when it's ready to preload for EU).Some people seem to be having their order status completed, but it seems that's kind of random.

Be patient and hope(like the rest of us) we'll get our order complete before Monday.

Yeah to be honest as long as it's okay by Monday I'll be happy. But I'm definitely going to need those preloading days because my internet speed is AWFUL! If nothing has happened in 24 hours I might get back onto Origin support and see what they say...

I truly feel you.. Not payment wise as mine went straight through in august, but connection speed wise..

I'm downloading since 13 hours as of now and I'm only at 63% with estimated roughly 5 hours more, plus there'll be all the DLC content, plus the soundtrack in lossless format which should be around 700mb I think? don't know yet.

Still processing. EA support wsnt very helpful (why did I have to get someone without a good understanding of english)

All I was told was it was automatic and by game launch. Which was not helpful at all. I want it taken on the 17th.

Yep, it is .wav format.

I'm surpirsed they didn't compress it with FLAC, which is also lossless.

I'd be very cautious before cancelling and then re-ordering,  I did that yesterday but when I tried to re-order the transaction failed,  I tried with paypal, my credit card all to no avail.  Today I managed to eventually speak with a specialist advisor who was pretty helpful but because its the weekend the staff who address these kinds of problems were off, I was told it could be tuesday before they could fix.

As I have no patience whatsoever I spent half the day trying to track down a 'paysafecard' . I ended up having to help a shop worker find  the item on the paypoint machine after traipsing round a number of supposed suppliers only to find nobody knew what I was on about.  So I got it in the end, it is just a voucher and it worked so I'm back in land of pre-orderd, but alas although the order is confirmed, it is of course 'processing' so back to square one.

Yeah quite a few people have suggested cancelling and reordering but I'm worried the cancellation won't happen instantly and then there may be problems with reorder. Sorry to hear of your problem wildannie - sounds rubbish. :(

I think as long as it's done by the 21st they're under no obligation to process it any faster tbh...
