My UK order, made back in September and payment taking immediately, has now moved from 'Processing' to 'Complete' ... which means I can now successfully use a VPN to preload a day early.
It's looking like processing is only taking place the day before the legit preloading is scheduled which, although was frustrating for the past two days while I was trying everything to preload, means I will be able to play early without problems now.

Mine completed yesterday. After I asked EA support when it would happen (fat lot of use that was). Pre-loading away. Cant wait till monday morning heh.
No need for sound decompression when playing the game = more cpu power left for everything else, meaning a better, smoother experience. That's more beneficial than saving a little of disk space, especially nowadays when disks are huge.Yep, it is .wav format.
I'm surpirsed they didn't compress it with FLAC, which is also lossless.
Happily downloading today, now at 45%
