Early Access Should be Full access not Limited

When playing DA games I like to take my time and explore everything. The thought that I'm on the clock really spoils the game for me. In future, if early access is timed access I'll wait for the full release.
Any one else agree?

EA Access is an Xbox One exclusive app that allows players to get early access to EA games.
DA:I was one of the first games that launched with it.

I just don't see the point of a time limited early access in a RPG like this. Should he all or nothing.

I bought the game digitally so I was able to play for 6 hours from yesterday. I'm on the Xbox One
I never cared about consoles there just so limiting and lets be honest mods are the ones that will make DA:I even better.

If you didnt see the point you shouldnt have used it, sorry for sounding snarky but its just the way i see it, be thankful microsoft accepted the offer from EA for access and you can actually test the game to see if you like it before buying, the rest of us on other platforms just need to knuckle down and pay full price for the game without a demo of any sort

I agree, it would be great to get in the mods scene but I don't have the time for PCs.

It's my understanding that this is the forum for 'Feedback & Suggestions'. The point is that I am giving my feedback/ suggestion.

I never understood why I mean you can play on your couch with a controller on pc also just use a smart tv instead of a monitor.

You don't even need a smart t.v, just a t.v. with a HDMI input
That is the set up I have at the moment, a 32inch HD T.V. with 3 HDMI inputs (for my PC, Xbox & Raspberry Pie emulator) and a scart for my game cube & a couple of other systems that I plug in & out.
On the topic of the Timed exclusive, as I understand it, it works like a demo, so you can try the game before you pay for it. If they gave you the full game then you'd be getting the full thing for free no?
Unless I've misunderstood how EA Access works.

To be honest I'm just too busy to mess around with PCs. Consoles are just quick and easy to use.
I do get a little jelous when I see all the mods for games like Skyrim.

There is the problem with buying and installing windows and all the programs necessary like direct x and the drivers for video card and sound and internet and antivirus. But the good part is that can be done in like 5 hours and you have no problem after that. But I bet that most of these things you have on your PC.

To get the early access you have to:
1. Join EA Access
2. Buy the digital version
So it's not like a demo because they have my money. That's why I say making it timed is a bit pointless.
It is correct that I did not have to play. I'm gonna use the rest of my time to play with the character creator.

Yes, I agree. I understand the 6 hour trial for people that have not purchased the game, but if you buy it, you should have early access to play the game with no time limit.

Oh ok - you have to buy the digital version to get early access.
If that is the case then I can see what you mean. You've already paid for it so it's not like a demo

It is STILL a demo. EA return policy is you can return the game 24 hours after its been activated as long as you activate it within 7 days of purchase OR 7 days post launch if you preordered the game.
Early access lets you try the game see if you like it, if you don't you can return it.
You get 6 hours extra time to play to determine if you like the game. That was all that was every promised to you for access.

I dont agree and it would be very unfair Ifsomeone on a xbox one paying a monthly fee gets to play the whole game before the release date.

Did anyone think that they did this so they do not upset the users of pc and PS4 because they did not gave the same option? You know clients are clients and there good where ever you find them. On short clients pay for food, drinks and high class cars and huge houses and servants and big boats and private airplanes. So why would you want to lose the clients by pissing them off even more.

No, a uniform release date is there to not upset the physical retailers. You know the people who provide around 90% of EA's revenue for games.

I'm sorry you didn't understand what you signed up for. But now that you have played six hours of the game close to a week before anyone else, you are completely free to cancel your digital download and get a full refund based on your Early Access experience. If not, then realize that this is how the EA Early Access feature works and have that influence your purchasing decisions and anticipatory experience going forward.
Thank you and have a nice day.

I never had early access hat but its a great option I would use it if the 6 hours would have sadisfied me. I am just saying why I think they have only 6 hours.

im in agreement with the OP.. i think this should be full access. you not only have to PAY a sub fee for the early access, but you have to pre-order the game too.
i think the reason they limited the access is to prevent spoilers to the entire game before release, which i can understand.. especially for a game like this. my suggestion to prevent this would be to restrict or limit what can be talked about - i.e. you can only broadcast the intro and hinterlands. if you review the game, there cant be any spoilers, etc.
but if you pay a sub AND pre-order the game, you should be able to play it in full with the early access. as it is.. since its NOT full access, ill just pass and not sub.
