The awesome shades mod to give my inquisitor the awesome shades my icon has.
What mods do you all want to be created for this game?

Clothes, hair, and hoarding mods are what i love to use in games. Anything that changes actual game play though I see as cheating and do not use.

Something that allows me to change the default Skyhold outfit (or at least adds color to it), and something that lets me wear something more fashionable to the Orlesian ball.
Admittedly, I've only ever used mods in one game before. That was Dragon Age II. I changed Hawke's casual outfit at home (to a standard noble's outfit from DAII), and the clothing Hawke wore to the party in Mark of the Assassin (another noble's outfit from DAII, so that it was different from the casual one). And the mod that let me put different armor on my companions.
I don't usually add in player-made items, but more so enjoy giving myself options already in the game that are available to NPCs. (I'm generally a stickler for "official content"--I know, I probably sound boring! I just like to make sure it fits in the game.)
Edit: I'd also probably take a storage chest mod as well!

Storage Chest
Weapons
Outfits
Magic Tweaks/Spells
Fixing Cassandra's face so she doesn't look like her brother in the cinematics(seriously her jawline doubled in size over 7 years)
Better Sex Scenes(Hoping romance doesn't stop after 1 scene)
Better Skin Texture(I swear to all that is holy the hands better not be jacked up this go around).

A simple chest to store items within. I love collecting unique items.

+1 for a storage chest.
And at this point, the main thing I want is decent hair for low/medium graphic settings - because my computer won't be able to handle high/ultra, and hair looks to be the main thing that suffers.
On the major wish-list - being able to romance Cassandra as a female ![]()

New armor. I never seem to like the mage robe designs that come with Bioware games. If people can find the textures, put them in paint, and then import them back into the game, then I'll be happy.
I'm hoping the armor is better the final set was good for Hawke along with the Fuigitives Armor.
I agree though I hate the mage robes.
However doesn'tthe Friosbite engine make this less likely to be modded? Da 2 already has less mods due to no toolkit.

I don't know for certain, but I highly doubt it. I have a hard time imagining why it would be difficult.
I did a bit of texture modding in ME2 and 3 and it's just as basic as finding the texture folder (every game has to have one), pulling them out, editing in paint, and putting them back in. You might need certain software to get items in the correct format, but it's really that simple.
Unless somehow the texture folder is locked or scrambled into tiny bits, I don't see how this could ever be impossible.

I suspect there will be mods out reasonably quickly actually but not mods that add textures or meshes. But mods that tweak a file here and tweak a file there. These tweaks can be things that unlocks all civilian clothing for skyhold. Modify weapon damage, change the appearance of spiders, not by adding a mesh or texture but by telling the game to render a different animal from the spider, by tweaking the game's asset list.
These tweaks will be easy or harder depending on the file structure of frostbite but they will happen pretty quick as modders are already experienced in modding mass effect this way. Different engine yes but the principle of opening up assets already in the game for alternative uses the same. I have also found that fps modding community usually isn't as extensive as the RPG modding community because there is a tinge of people viewing modding in FPS as cheating vs modding in RPGs. As a mod in a fps can give you an unfair advantage that isn't present in an RPG.
Its going to require packing and unpacking tools which WILL be a barrier to mod users.

First, the storage chest. I want to keep my goodies...having an entire castle and not a single chest...what was bioware thinking!?!?!?!?
And then...well...anything else.

Assuming someone finds a way to mod it...
1. Proper Qunari hair, like the one we have seen on concept-arts, in comic books etc.
2. Black sclerae for qunari (like Arishok in DA2)
3. DA2-styled elven faces (that nose thing especially)
4. Unlimited storage chest in Haven and Skyhold or unlimited inventory cheat for hoarders like me (do not care which, as long as I can keep all the junk i want to keep!)
5. Something different for Inquisitor casual clothes
6. A dress for the ball for ladies(I'd take even NPC one)! I know some prefer military uniform on everyone, but I don't. I want a dress for my character. Was it so hard to give a choice of attire? We have to unequip the uniform for combat sequences anyway, so the excuse 'but uniform is more comfortable to fight in' does not work!
Improbable, considering the amount of content that should be altered, but one can dream - 7. exile Cullen from Inquisition and replace him with someone else. I don't want any templars around, even if they are ex-templars. And yes, I'll be happy to loose all his content and get a silent NPC to fulfill his gameplay functions.

Better hair (not likely)
Make Cullen, Blackwall, Solas available to male character (impossible)
Settle for getting rid of Dorian's pornstache and replace with manly stubble (seems most doable)
Otherwise I am sure I will love the game, but they really are being shortsighted here (whoever "they" is). I just bought Skyrim for PC, solely because I just bought a new computer and want to play with mods. How many people will be buying DAI 2-3 years from now? Not as many.
