Put this one on the "list of potential squadmates in DA4."
He can be dead, so this isn't very likely.
(Yes, I know they did it with Anders and Justice, not to mention Leliana, but they seem to be trying to get away from this. Nobody who died in DA2 came back for DAI, and I predict that nobody who could die in DAI will be back for more than a cameo in DA4.)

Not just them. Sten could be left behind in the cage and still be Arishok. Alistair could get his head chopped off, or wind up a wandering drunk, but he's still got several comic books detailing his adventures as king. Zevran could be killed instead of recruited. I'm sure there are more.
You could also play the whole game without encountering Michele at all. He's a subquest not everyone completed. And he's gotten a lot of build up. Sure, he can die, but he can also not die. It is the Makers play, after all, and us the humble players.

We didn't see Sten die, those, comics are set in one particular world state, and Zevran only appears for a side quest in DA2.
I'm not saying it's impossible that Michele will be a companion in DA4 - if BioWare want to use him, they'll resurrect him as they did with Leliana. I'm just saying that people probably shouldn't get their hopes up, since they seem to be moving away from resurrecting dead characters. (And towards not killing them off in the first place if they might want to bring them back. Just look at how they handled Calpernia.)

I'm not sure what would make you say that. Also, Zevran can be contacted via a war table mission in DA:I. DA:O was a game made when they thought they weren't going to have sequels. They've been scrambling to retcon bits of it ever since. Because some players really WILL just kill everyone.

Why would anyone use Michel as a squadmate in Tevinter? He was a piece of **** in TME and did nothing interesting in DAI.

I have to agree that there seems little reason why Michel would be involved in events up in Tevinter. Assuming he is still alive, since I believe he can die (which makes for problems in itself), he is loyal to Orlais and very much part of it. I believe he can be reconciled with both Gaspard or Celene, just not Celene with Briala in tow for obvious reasons. Apparently people with an Orlesian accent are immediately pounced upon up in Tevinter (see Asunder and Rhys' experience there), so if, for example, the Inquisitor (ex-Inquisitor) was sending him up there as an agent he would be pretty useless because he would stick out rather than blend in.
I think the words of the Inquisitor at the end about using new people was probably an indication that there will not be very many returning characters next time round. Probably Dorian for continuity and since they were obviously determined to send him back to Tevinter and may be Calpernia because she is never definitively revealed as dead but beyond that I think any characters we knew in the south are likely to stay in the south.

Just like Cullen was surprisingly our commander. He will probably get an important role in the future like Sten, Zevran, Leliana and something else. Anyway- I don't think they just leave one on TME main heroes just is. Developers, of course may deside otherwise but I think he has good chances to be our follower. Villian type I guess.
And Imshael story isn't ended too.

I'd like to travel with more villian type of character. That would be intresting too look at.

Imshael has simply been sent back to the Fade. Guess he could come out to trouble us again like any of the Forbidden Ones if someone summons him or he gets out some other way but I'm guessing he's had his time. I know people were suggesting that we've seen three out of four of the Forbidden Ones, so the next one we meet is likely to be the Formless One. Could be interesting since I assume his name suggests he could manifest as just about anything.
