I heard in some reviews that the max level is 20, is this true because it seems too low for me!?

20 is only the max for multiplayer. Single player has a cap of around 25-30. But you can get higher if you grind, I imagine.

Ah ok thank you I was worried about that because set only 20 skills is really hard in a game like this!

I know some reviewer said that he defeats the tenth (and the last) dragon on normal at level 23, and used up all 12 potions.

my warden was level 24 in origins before i imported him into awakening.

I'm fairly sure the cap is a soft cap in SP, you will simply run out of stuff to level you up more than 20-30 by the time you finish the game (i'm fairly sure the cap in SP was 30)

DAO was max cap 25 (Awakening was 35). However, most content and level scaling ended around Lv 20, I believe.

 

Same may be happening in DAI, except there may be more 'endgame' levels and activities than Origins. So soft cap around 20, but hard cap is higher, to be reached more easily via DLC, or even potentially raised in an expansion.

 

We'll see.

 

Bioware hasn't spoken more definitively on this, so for all we know, there is some super high actual cap, but the grind to get there slows to an absolute crawl (at least for now).

Yea I thought I read a soft cap at 30
