Yeah, given what I've seen of the cut scenes and Leliana's penchant for creating new smiles on people, I'm not sure I'd let someone play the game if you're worried they shouldn't see the romances. The violence is at least as potentially disturbing, IMO.

No penises, but there will be some rear nudity from males.  They are going to show "a bit" this time around.

It's an adult game, so there might be nudity that's unavoidable.

 

I wouldn't buy this game for a child, for example.

If you let him play the other two games then I don't see the issue. Anyways the problem with our world is how much shielding are doing to our kids. They live in a separate world from us until they get 16-18 then are pushed into a vicious world that has no mercy.

OP, just check youtube a week after release and you will easily be able to answer the question of the type of content in this game. Based on the ESRB warning, I think it may very well make DAO and DA2 look exceedingly tame by comparison.

To be fair, there aren't a lot of vaginas being shown either. Genitals are generally off limits, and I think that's a good thing. Cartoon pen/vag would just be disturbing.

Hmm, i seem to remember my local PBS station showing penises on some of their art shows.  What makes breasts ok, but not penises?  After all, we are all born naked.  Of course, I am just being silly here, but it does seem a bit strange to me.

As for the why, your guess is as good as mine. I don't see how a digitalised penis is worse than boobs, but there you go.

Can you provide evidence to support the claim that a penis = an automatic AO? I've never seen that in any ESRB materials, GTA IV had a penis and was rated M. I have it on pretty good authority that this statement is incorrect, but I'm wondering what your source is.

If you have to ask these question about a video game then you shouldn't play the game. This is a MATURE title, you are told it has nudity, if seeing it offends you then don't buy the game. You WILL encounter nudity outside romances you will not be able to hide from from it. Some nudity is tied to romances but not all.

 

The fact that you have to ask this question about a mature title tells me you shouldn't buy the game.

I knew my limits. Heck, my brother even installed naked mods on Morrowind and I'd spend my time killing people and undressing them then pile up their stuff next to them. It didn't turn me into a perverted maniac.

 

I know you can't really compare the two, but they were naked and were green/blue/orange down there. It was funny.

Anyone know what romance scenes or romance/relationship information has been leaked? If you have any links to the source of the leak or anything like that let me know. Only one I've heard of so far is the Iron Bull and Cassandra leaks.

I only know of Cassandra showing her t!ts during her romance scene. Iron Bull has some BDSM thing going on (no idea on whether or not he shows any nudity). Sera supposedly shows her breasts. And I heard a rumor that Dorian will show his butt (he freakin better). That's all I know, though. I too am hoping for some confirmation on some of these companions. Mostly for Dorian and Solas. lol
