I'm certainly not saying sex and nudity are bad and evil, I'm saying they tend to be embarrassing and badly done in video games, it's pretty much never done in an equal manner, and I could live without the smutty fanfic area of fandom taking over.

The romance scenes in DAO and DA2 are horrible. Just absolutely terrible.

Rated M for mature, so, maybe not. Depending on the kid anyway. Not sure what kind of stuff's in the game, nudity wise.

Boobs are generally OK with the ERSB, as are butts, genitals however are automatic AO rating (which means no major retailer in the US will ever sell your game, even Steam) if they are front and center. GTA V got away with a glimpse of a penis, but that's it.
As for the why, your guess is as good as mine. I don't see how a digitalised penis is worse than boobs, but there you go.
I have to question this, simply because Outlast (a horror game) shows male genitalia in many instances yet keeps an M rating. It happens in the DLC as well, which also kept an M rating. I guess it could be because it wasn't shown in a sexual situation...? which is kinda weird, but that's the only reason I can think of.
As for nudity in DAI, I don't mind either way. I did not like the romance scenes in Origins only because they were so awkward. I would have rather it just faded to black walking to your tent. But the fade to black in DA2 was completely fine by me, just as nudity is. Cool to hear that not every romance requires sex though. I wonder which ones.

Fascinating. Though it's not hard to see, I think, why so few others understand why you're so vehement about this if you won't tell us anything about why; it might hinder some kind of compromise, if there are specific kinds of nudity that are the most problematic, and the like.
just one man's point of view but I've been seeing nudity... pretty much my whole life minus a few years when I was old enough to know what was going on but my parents thought I couldn't handle it... that stopped about 12 and as of today I'm a 25 year ago virgin so while it's your business what you feel is okay or not. a boob shot is probably the least of your worries with a m-rated game... which I started playing about 12 too. and no I haven't gone crazy and ruined everyone happy meal yet.
remember despite what fox news wants you to believe bioware doesn't make h games...
