So let me get this straight...

I'm deciding to be good customer and pre order the game (Inquisition).

Unlike many other people I'm going to support you and purchase the game in the default Origin store you set for me (And even though Israel located in ASIA and not in Europe) I purchase it for 69.99 Euro from the European store.

Then while many others used voodoo to pre order on mexico for 45 $ (same digital deluxe edition) I then wait for today to pre load the game.

To my astonishment people which used the voodoo to purchase in Mexico can pre load the game while I as loyal customer which pre ordered in the European store still can't pre load.

Further investigation shows that the order is still in "processing" which got me puzzled due to the fact I paid using paypal and you took all the money weeks ago.

So lets get the facts...

Pirates will get the game via torrents and play with no trouble at all starting tomorrow.

People which cheated the system (and I met some today) and ordered in Mexico for cheaper price already can preload.

While humble loyal customers which purchased the game in the store you dictated for them in the much higher price are blocked for pre loading...

That's not cool.

Also with all due respect we live in the 21st century, the main distributing of video games is via digital downloads.

When you offer people pre -order on digital store  we expect to get access to the game as soon as it available for anyone worldwide and not wait for days while other people got access... it makes no sense.

What world do you live in where that's not how it always works?

Of course people who cheat the system get it easier.

You can pre-load on the date specified for your country, nothing to do with where you ordered the game, unless you are VPNing for pre-load as well as buying.

The problem seems to be that EA has set the order to "processing" instead of completing it, even though the money was withdrawn immediately.

Probably a lot going on in the system now, sure it'll sort itself out.

I would contact Origin's customer service immediately, OP. Things go wrong with automated systems all the time, so being proactive and letting them know there is a problem will see it resolved more quickly than just waiting and hoping. Godspeed.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

This.

I contacted the EA support and they notified me I should wait 24 hours because their hamster probably didn't get his daily meal.

At any rate there are like 3-4 threads on this board for people who pre load using VPN so I guess it's not against any rule if they are active for weeks.

I was told VPN shouldn't be used to purchase in different region... np purchased in my local store.

But for pre-loading? come on... every Origin game is pre loaded using this trick.. check on google.

Thing here in this case is that due to the order set to "Processing" I don't get the pre load option and then I need to wait until the 17th to pre load it :X

Contacted an EA advisor, he had to cancel the order and is refunding the money. I have to preorder the game again to make it go through because apparently it bugged out.... hmm I wonder if I should find a different place to preorder it now....

Is it possible this will get fixed before sunday? Cuz I need at least a day to download it.

I don't get how the order is still processing... My money is def withdrawn from that paysafecard.

Using a vpn to access the preload through Origin is wrong, but app sites like GreenGaming do work with that workaround? That's just silly ;(

For those of you wondering, I did buy the game in my own currency which is €.

GMG only hand out keys now. They dont do the game files as well.

Also OP this has nothing to do with Bioware so don't make the topic name EAware

But the keys from GMG work in Origin and can be used to preload the game (even from Europe).

I presume that you've activated said key and then used a VPN. In which case that's because GMG processed the payment and sent you a key.

While EA is not processing until the local pre-load date (apparently)

Which is just weird to me. Why allowed it from a third party company but not Origin themselves? Sounds like they almost want us not to use Origin.

I had bad experience with ME3 when I pre - ordered it and moment came to download EA servers were bogged for days until I managed to download it. I hoped this time with the VPN trick I'll save few days and get the game ready on my HDD for the European release date but alas seems EA only care about exploiters (mexico.. hmm) and seems pirates will get it easy.

Frustrating...

You have to wait until the 17th because Europe can't preload it until the 17th. Israel is part of the EMEA (Europe, Middle East & Africa) region. EMEA is a business region and is a term that many American Companies use.

These same US companies generally make Israel use a European version of their site, if they haven't localised their service for Israel.

This is more than likely why you had to purchase it from the EU Origin site and why you have to wait until the 17th to preload, like most of the rest of Europe.

I met few people today (co workers) which used mexican vpn to purchase the game via the mexican origin store.

Instead of 70 Euro only 45$ for the Digital deluxe which in my local currency is 340 NIS in europe (which I paid) vs 178 NIS in mexico.

Then guys which bought on mexico used korean vpn to pre load while I can't use it due to order being still processed. :X

Well that was against EA's terms of service. So if they get caught doing that they'll be banned.

I've bought the standard edition from GMG instead and got sent a key immediately. Preloading the game is working (vpn). WARNING: buying there no longer gives pre-order bonus keys.

Steam?

Do Steam have a localised Israeli site? If not & they let you purchase from the NA site then they seem to be the exception.

I work in an American company (in Europe) and have been to a number conferences and things with other American companies and the norm is to have Israel as part of the EMEA region for business reasons and give them the EU version of the site.
