Lost my origins disc, able to play Inquisition?

Hi my old PC broke down and had to get rid of it, stupid as i was i didnt remember that had one of the discs for Origins still on that PC and now its gone...will i still be able to play Inquistion or does it require Origins?

 

Atleast i had transfered one Char in to the keep...:)

If you are talking about Dragon Age: Origins game disc - no, you don`t need one to play DA:I. You will have to manually recreate you past in-game choices in the Dragon Age Keep, so you don`t even need old save files.

Ah ok thank you, i thought i saw some post that said that it downloaded the last bit from Origins, i guess they meant the site then and not the game (?)

They were probably talking about activating\registering your game in Origins - EA game-store after you have installed it from the disc. It is required to run the game, i think? Even if you bought it on disc. I`m not sure because i bought it digitally.

Yeah the site/client not the game.

 

It was a game company that EA shut down and then used the name for their software
