The first big Tests from DA:I are out.

And you guys added the tactical Camera.

BUT WHY controles this Camera like in the Console Version.

WHY you dont add a free Camera Mode like in DA:O.

WHY is there no Attacking Q.

WHY cant you zoom more out - like in Origins.

WHY is the Camera limitated by the Place you are in (Means in a small room you cant see anything couz the Camera stuck at the Walls.

...you guys really kidding me.

Is that so hard? Ah yes. I see. It was also hard to add the ..dont know the word "Put your Weapon away" in ME3.

Which also was a feature who messed up couz of the Consoles.

You guys make the same mistakes over and over again.

Dont know what i should think about that. When all Previews says that your tactical Camera is horribel to controle and that it work better with a GamePad then with Mouse and Keyboard.

I really think about cancle my Preorder.

so PLS. Atleast do a usability Patch to Fix the Tac Cam into a Free Camera. Where you dont have this Dot at the Ground which focus the Camera. Make a Free Camera Mode. Then its nearly the same like in DA:O.

Oh yes. And pls not in 5 month. do it  straight right now....

i may overreacting a bit but srly. I thought this Game whould have at least a nearly the same Camera Typ then DA:O. And in my point - Making the tactical Camera this worse is even worse then to not have it.

If it dont makes fun to use. Well. Why you just let it be like in DA2. So - fix your mess. Day 1 Patch pls. This shouldnt be a big Deal to edit.

I'm not so sure about that, for you might have to tweak the whole engine again. Why don't you play first then complain later.

PS. There is no attack queues in DA series. And DA:O tactical camera isn't truly free roam since you can't extend it far from the controlling character when we can in DA:I according to various gameplay videos. I know some reviewer who said tactical camera is easier to use in PC than in consoles.

You can move ahead of your character in tac cam (which you cant do in origin) to scout the battlefield.

Really? That's great news. Being able to see stuff that my characters couldn't see always bothered me.

ok take a deep breathe.

The tactical camera is a new thing. Normally RPGs have either 3rd person view, which annoys people who like isometric, or isometric which annoys people who like 3rd person view.

Tactical camera seems like a decent solution to satisfy both groups. Is it guaranteed to work? no, but BioWare are experimenting and trying something different, so how about instead of preemptively freaking out we all give it a go and then provide feedback on how it actually works not how you fear it will work.

The Tactical Top Down camera in DA:I is better than Origin. As you can move around with it, rather than in a fixed spot on your character

OK, this is the opposite of true. Dragon Age Origins had tactical camera. This is NOTHING new; it's a returning feature. Bioware isn't experimenting with anything. They are literally taking a feature that was awesome, removed for some inane reason, and then added back in. If it is inferior to DAO, they have ZERO excuses. To be fair though, they have it on all platforms now.

If you think that is true then you either didn't used the version of it they used in DA:O or haven't seen them use this new tatica camera in gameplay streams.

It might have been more accurate to say the DA:I version of it is new, but it does function differently to the one in DA:O

And of course, the fact that they're doing it with a completely different game engine is just a minor irrelevancy, right?

NO EXCUSES BIOWARE.  Y U NO CODE MOAR BETA?

Because they are secretly trying to drive away all their PC-user fans so they don't have to listen to them ****** about how unfair it is that Bioware doesn't makes games exclusively for the PC format anymore.

It can be also said "old school cRPG master race" with the claim that true RPGs must be on PC only, while 15 years ago people around me play RPGs on consoles only. Even Final Fantasy Tactics, one of the best tactical RPGs isn't limited to PC.

I can't personally speak for the validity of any claims in here as I haven't yet played the game. However, games are often built with a few design decisions that not every player is going to love. I'm sure someone on the team is truly sorry that all of your needs haven't been met, but that's really never going to happen.

I have to lock this thread because there's no way it can remain civil. You're welcome to discuss the topic when the game is actually released, instead of making demands based on seeing some short videos of a complex mechanic.
