Bringing Trevor Morris on as the composer is one of the best decisions Bioware made with the series. DA:I's soundtrack is far superior to the soundtracks of the previous two games.

You're doing the Maker's work.  Some of these songs are downright majestic.

For those looking for the bard songs, I haven't seen the gameplay videos but I think these might be the ones?

Could I bother someone for the location of the soundtracks? I looked and looked and don't see it. Thanks in advance.

I read somewhere that it's in the game's main installation directory in a folder labeled "Bonus" and then "Soundtrack." Hope that helps!

So does anyone know how the PS4/Xbox One players get the soundtrack?

I think you get a code and you redeem it on some Bioware site.

My guess is we'll have a slip of paper in the gamebox with a code to download the soundtrack.

If you mean a digitally-bought copy, then I've no idea. All my console games I buy physically, so slip of paper in the box with some download codes is how I've gotten any special "preorder" type items. Either that, or you get a printed code on your GameStop receipt.

Has anyone managed to import the soundtrack into iTunes with metadata? As far as I can tell there is no metadata associated with any of the files, and I assume it is stored in the meta.dat file. However this means that iTunes will not recognize it, and just imports a bunch of tracks to "Unknown Album" by "Unknown Artist."

Why is it that, when villains get a theme, it's always more epic/memorable than the heroes' theme? It happened with Zod's Theme in Man of Steel, and it happened again here with the Elder One's theme. Chills.

Can't wait to hear this music in-game; it's aces.

Thanks for trying to help. I don't see a Bonus folder. Did I misunderstand that people who pre-loaded have access to it, and it is only people with the EA early access maybe?

This is literally the path to my folder:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Dragon Age Inquisition\Bonus\Soundtrack

Also no, I think most of us are PC players (like me).  We just pre-ordered and got the digital soundtrack.  No early access for us.

Thank you so much. I appear to have a problem with the recently formated drive and files and folders showing up. I am showing 23G or so but missing a lot of content (folders/files) showing. I've been working with the folder properties but it hasn't clicked in for some reason. At least I'll know now where to look when it is fixed.

I was already looking forward to this game, and was going to get it eventually, but man this soundtrack,...

The main theme, the dawn will come, and especially calling the Inquisition are incredible. I'm thinking of getting the deluxe edition just for this soundtrack...

Do I get anything extra for pre-ordering, or is everything included in the deluxe edition?

Loving the bard songs.  How do you get something like that?  I mean, is there someone in the music industry you go to and are like:

"Yo, I need you to write like 20 songs for me."

"Oh yeah?  What about?"

"Demons, dragons, wizards, **** like that."

"Hmm....can do."

It just strikes me as odd and I'd love to know who actually wrote these songs, because they're really well done.

I imagine it's a combination of the writers and Trevor Morris.

I didn't have that folder either, but was able to get it to show up. What I did was go into Origin, right-click on Inquisition and select "View Game Details". From that screen scroll down until you get to the "Add-ons & Bonuses" section. There you'll see the "Dragon Age: Inquisition Official Game Soundtrack" and to the right of it there will be a separate "Preload" button. Hit the preload button and you should see that "Bonus" folder show up in the relevant directory.

Did you download the soundtrack, or just the game from Origin? I had to go onto Inquisition's page (clicking the "i" for information" button when you roll over it in "My Games") and scroll down to the DLC list and manually download the soundtrack separately. After you download it, it'll show up in your Inquisition folder under "Bonus" and "Soundtrack" as previously mentioned, where-ever your Origin game install directory is set to.
