Off topic : I am loving the responses in the dialogue. I have been rude to Cassandra so far because she is human and I'm playing an elf
Argh, I'm dying to play and I still have 12 hours before it releases here!
I am really impressed with the variety that the CC allows. Not only are these characters so drastically different looking, but they all look like they are pre-rendered unique models and not CC results. Any one of them could be a character designed by the devs. Normally, you can always tell a CC character because they look a little generic. I haven't seen any generic looking Inquisitors so far.
I can't wait to post mine. It's going to be an excruciating 27 hour wait until my copy gets delivered. In the meantime, I'm loving looking at other players characters!

I'm glad you like her! I think I used the last preset face. But don't hold me to that it was almost a week ago. 
As far as the differences between CC and in-game, there are a lot of instances where the lighting in the room/environment really affects the...as I call it "glow" of your character. For anyone using makeup on their character, I highly suggest setting the makeup you like...and then taking down any blush by one step. Don't think of it as slapping on makeup - pretend you're Michelle Phan all in this and need to make it nice.

I love this thread. Seeing everyone's Inquisitors helps ease the wait! They all look fantastic. The degree of variety, life and character the CC is capable of is utterly impressive. I'm both nervous and excited to create mine.
Haven't taken a screenshot yet but I liked how my human male turned out for the most part. The hair options are pretty dreadful however.

That's a huge difference between cc and in game. Are others experiencing this?
A slight difference, here is an example of how mine look compared to how they were in the character creator. (sorry for the crappy phone quality)
Mostly I feel like it has to do with different lighting
Here's my mage elf. Only slightly edited one of the presets. Didn't look too bad. She's wearing the Light Armor of the Dragon and the Staff of the Dragon from the DDE.
