I've heard someone mention this may be an issue with Nvidia cards and HDMI. Apparently we're not getting the full range of RGB. There was a registry fix someone posted, but I don't remember where. You can google it if you want it. The new 347 (i think that's the number?) drivers will have this bug fixed though. 

Hmm interesting! Thanks for the info on that bug, I am playing DA:I on my PS4 so it could be my HDMI...but I got the best one out there so that is kind of odd. The hair only really looks blue in the first few scenes so it isn't too bad!

My goal was to make a female qunari who didn't have a resting b**** face.    I think my rogue Adaar turned out OK.

Well, now that I finished my Qunari female reaver, I also took up the manCadash challenge.  And, it looks like we could be brothers!

This is another character I've been thinking about playing.

 

Not only did he get the mark, but the explosion permanently scarred him horribly. His hair was burned off and it will no longer grow. And his eyes have turned green as a side effect of the mark.

 

He will quickly become completely convinced he is chosen and has no fear of death. He will be a 2 handed warrior.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Inspired by Alex Ross' Earth X, Captain America.

 

I'm waiting for the next patch before I start playing this guy. I'm hoping they have walk toggle in by then. There are a good number of scenes where I feel I should be walking, like just after waking up in Haven for example. 

 

But as I wait, I've been thinking of how I am going to play it out, and it should be a big change to my normal play.

 

- He will be a zealot for Andraste and have full faith that he is chosen.

- He will not let Sera join because she is too much of a wild card. 

- He will not let Iron Bull join because he doesn't trust him

- He will not let Viv join because he is against mages. He only tolerates Solas for his help and has an uneasy respect for him

- He will not let Cole join for the same reason he doesn't like Viv

- No Romance

 

All the above will cut out a lot of side quests and character management that will make it a much tighter game. His close nit group will be him, Varric, Solas, and Blackwall/Cassandra.

 

And as I said before I could only picture Iron Bull being strong enough to have the effects that Mighty Blow and other attacks have, but I am also going to imagine that the mark has given him inhuman strength.

Merlik, really interesting character!!   I got goosepumps when I read the background story!

Plus I have a friend with two alopecia kids so no hair is close to heart, even if thei didn't loose their in supernatural explosion

I'm hoping for a walk toggle soon then!! Would be nice to know how that round turns out!

If you are unable to wait and aren't against using cheat engine, there is already a script released that allows run/jog/walk on keypress and toggle, really helps with the immersion. As you said, after waking in Haven, running full pelt towards the chantry or to the crowd just feels wrong.
