A bit more from the Adventures of Jarack Adaar
What a fantastic Qunari. I don't know how you did it, but he's the first one I've seen that's actually reminiscent of the DA2 Qunari (and I really like the way those ones look). Great job!

Another human mage Inquisitor (Elrianna Trevelyan). I've fallen so deeply in love with KE that I can't bring myself to play any other class now. They just seem so underpowered.

It's getting some kind of tradition. My first walkthrough is always a red haired, green eyed, dagger rogue with hardcore cheekbones. I'm a big fan of non-cute characters (or too stupid to make these), so I really love the 'broken nose' feature.

After that I needed a heartbreak-revenge. So I was forced (
) to play as an elf. My first elf ever. In any RPG.

And then I wanted to conquer another heart. What forced me to play a guy. My first male character ever. Who, as I realized later, could be a long lost relative of Krem.

My other two don't want me to take any 'presentable' screenshots of them. Getting there.
Gosh, I'm addicted.
I really love the 'broken nose' feature.
Broken nose is really great. I've given a lot of my characters just a slight break one way or the other to make them seem a little more real, especially warriors. Scars are also great. I really hope the appearance of scars in DA:I might lead to the return of scars in ME Next, missed having that in the CC from ME1.
I give up... Why is it I can create this in the EVE Online Character creator?
But I can only come up with this in the DAI CC?
I think the DAI CC hates me.
No matter how hard I try, every time I create a character in DAI, I find some flaw or other during gameplay, yet on my EVE character, I have not found a single one for years.

They're both hot. What the hell is wrong with your elf? lol..

Eyes are to narrow, nose bridge is to wide, mouth is to low on the face and there is some sort of weird straight line across her chin that I have never been able to get rid off.
Bah... Maybe I am just too critical when it comes to my character.

I know what you mean. I'm the same way... I've restarted more than I care for.. and the character I posted here is in the "almost but not quite category". I'm getting OCD about his low cheekbones. Heh. But FWIW, your character is great.
I've always wondered about the CC in Eve Online. It seems amazing, but do you actually see your character much in the game? Do other people see your character while playing?
EDIT: Figured I should keep this sort of on topic, here is another of my Inquisitors.

Thanks, I am at the point where I just cannot go back and start again... I have restarted over 10 times between Haven end and skyhold beginning that it is not even funny anymore, I just cannot get myself to go back and "fix" it, because I know that something else will just pop up and annoy me =P
But thank you, I think it will take some time for me to fix her completely =)

It depends, I like to be in my Captains Quaters where your character and ship can be seen, than in the hanger where only your ship can be seen.
Of course, my computer runs EVE at 100+ fps at all times with everything on MAX, so the Captains Quaters and hanger loading times are like 2-3 seconds difference.
For lower spec computers, the Captains Quaters can be a little taxing on loading times =)
Also, sorry for the delay on the reply, I decided to clean my computer... And boy was there a lot of dust in there.
And another picture of the same character, just to stay on topic:
You can see the narrow eyes here, ugh, it's annoying me =P
I think I may need to spend an hour or 5 in the CC fixing everything about her... If I can =P
I couldn't resist going back into the CC. It's addicting!
Meet Berengar Trevelyan, future Knight Enchanter and Cassandra romancer. He's got the American voice, because the British one sounds just a little bit too prissy for my liking.

More underneath the spoiler:
I don't have sliders, but I have some general advice for making a male human look similar. I started out with preset 3. I made the cheekbones a little more prominent and made them as high as possible. I also made the cheeks a little bit gaunter than they were before and raised the eyes slightly higher. I made the nose broader and the lips wider and a bit thicker. I think that's the stuff that's most important to getting a similar looking male human. Actually, I've found that male humans are probably the easiest to make for some reason.
Finally: a decent-looking Vitaar.

It's reassuring to know that once this "Inquisition" has served its purpose, my Adaar will always have a place in the Ministry of Silly Walks. She runs like Dean venture.

First post (Hi all) - some of the awesome looking inquisitors that I've seen on here inspired me to humbly present my own offering from my 3rd playthrough: Lyria Lavellan

This is the first character that I've put together that I'm really satisfied with (Lord knows how many times I went through the intro only to realise I created something truly goofy looking).
@MelissaGT
thanks for the sliders! still playing around with it
*snip*
I was gonna say...scrolling through the pics and I was like "That's my girl!" ![]()
Folks have been asking for me to do an elf. I re-did Ever, my Dalish mage. Please note the brows are a mod:

Those graphics are insane. I am shamed to admit that my rig isn't good enough to go on ultra settings for screenshots. Well, I couldn't sit through the whole lagging thing.
Awesome elf, tklivory.

Beautiful. Excellent job. I haven't seen MelissaGT's human characters, so I suppose I'll compliment her too. ![]()

Thank you! For whatever reason, I'm having great difficulties making elves I can live with, and I'm glad I finally made one I can live with for 120 hours. I'm glad you like him, too!
( Just...don't make eye contact with Cass. )
Hey your Quizzy has nice armor - where'd you acquire that one from if I may ask?
Just started a new game with a female Qunari inquisitor-- Astaara Adaar (waaay too much double 'a' going on, I know, lol)

I spent maybe an hour trying to set her face the way I wanted. I had hoped that qunari (both male and female) might get more of a choice of hairstyle, but alas, you really only get a choice of horn style and have to accept whatever hair comes with it (either corn rows, mohawk, or a sort of cropped ponytail). I'd considered the hornless look, but you only get that one hairstyle choice, either that or bald. I kind of wanted a longer ponytail in back, or a style 'hawk for these horns that I chose. I also wanted her to have black hair, but the closest I could get was a dark brown; the only other color that looked black had sort of a blue hue to it, and I wasn't sure if that was just the character creation interface displaying weird colors, or if that's what it was really going to look like. I liked the ornamented horn caps on these horns, so I stuck with them, although I wanted another hairstyle other than rows. I like the inlaid pearl or whatever it is on her left side horn cap, but you can't really see it in these screenshots. I wish there were more control for the part of the skull where the horns just begin to protrude--I would have made that a little more flush or flat with the rest of her upper skull if I could have, and brought it in a little more. For her skin color, I was going for a sort of 'olive-skinned, "exotic" beauty' look, I'm pretty happy with her face and eyes, but I spent SO much time on her eyes.. Overall, I spent more time on this character's face than my very first character (pictures of which I posted a few pages back). I strayed pretty far from the default head. I would have added some kind of war paint, but I didn't see an option for it with the Qunari, unless I just missed it.
I really hope Bioware includes a DLC at some point that lets you change your hair/face/etc. like the Black Emporium's Mirror of Transformation from Dragon Age 2 (or at the very least, a barber shop), and maybe add some more hairstyles/war paints in.
Might be the most intimidating Qunari I've seen.
That's a good or bad thing.. depending on who you ask. I couldn't be in the same room with him.
Oh thank you, I was aiming for a grizzled, not necessarily old, but grizzled and experienced Mercenary, tried to avoid the trap of overly model handsome Qunari.
I tried going for golden eyes, not quite sure it was a success but I am pretty that pleased with them.

Honestly not sure either! I wasn't intentionally going for DAII Qunari, but rather as I said veteran, grizzled guy.
Profile picture, took it perhaps a tad too late as it faded out but still:
