Yes, she is supposed to be shimmery. It's sort of a visual reminder to me of her personality, lol.

Yessssss.  I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who banged their heads against the sliders trying to recreate the Elvhen bridge of the nose, sloping almost directly down from the forehead, that was so characteristic to them in previous incarnations.  It was a subtle difference, but enough of a deviation from the indentation that looks human-normal to give them an alien quality.

 

Too much "standard supermodel faces for everyone!" silliness going on in DAI.  Everyone needs to look like a younger, hotter human, so all the kids lust after the pixels. Bleeeeeeech.  I gave up trying to make mine more angular and just went with a modified "hot chick #3" since that's what it seems slanted towards.

I went and performed Stupid Camera Tricks by walking up to chest-high rocks and walls, to be able to zoom in to the face.  I realized a lot of the shots y'all are posting are from cinematics.  I was wondering why, until I tried getting pics of my Inqs.  Haha yeah.  Can't really zoom in normally, can yeh?

Maxwell, human rogue.  It's the default name but he looks like a Maxwell.  I wanted him to be somewhat weasely.

Just finished my first playthrough yesterday.

 

Now, I start the second round. I've created Blondie human mage, Rowan.

 

It took me an hour to creat him and I think I crush him at first sight  when he appear  on the first cutscence

I made a Elf Mage inquisitor tonight. Don't know if I'll play him. His voice doesn't really match his face. Inspired by Jack Frost from Rise of the Guardians.

I was trying to make a character based on Alexander Skarsgard, slightly older and more weathered; and with very striking features combined with some plain (even unattractive) ones. Once BioWare or modders come out with better hair options I should be able to finish the look, as none of the options really fit what he should look like to me.
