Ok so with all the characters I have made. Only one has finished DA:I sadly. I finally have made an elf mage I can play the game with. I think it is the eyes that I seem to not get right and this time I'm happy. She has a very slightly broken nose and I was able to get a scar to work faintly on the nose for the broken nose and small scar along jaw line of left cheek.

It feels like I made my 100th attempt at recreating Arwen/Liv Tyler with an elven Inquisitor.  It's pretty difficult to get right- this is the closest I could get and she doesn't really look like her .  Any tips would be appreciated.

 

 

Just a first impression, but Liv Tyler's jaw and cheekbones are pretty much the same width in that photo, so you might wish to consider narrowing her cheekbones.  Liv Tyler's face is also a bit longer and her eyes seem less elongated than your Inquisitor's.  I don't know if you can choose eyebrows that are finer and more angular, but if you can't those are pretty close.  The mouth shape of your Inquisitor is perfect, but could be less wide.

I think you did a pretty good job! But I think you could get the nose more accurate

Maybe reduce the nostrils and put them a bit higher. Your Quizzie's nose has a 'n' form while Liv Tyler is more in 'v' if that makes any sense

Lady Zara Lavellan. At first I wanted to make a dark character, or at least a character out of the norm. But I couldn't help, I always ended up with "normal" characters. I can't do evil ones.

I used that as a template for making the dude below. It's almost the same look as in the reddit post above, just a few minor tweaks, so I can't really take credit... I just ended up liking the guy so much I gotta post him.

Except as an elf he is automatically more attractive/unique in appearance/better than any human PC could ever hope to be.

 Haha! I mostly hang around the character creator forum, so I've seen a lot of humans. They are not all that good looking, and are fairly generic in appearance.

 

I think I've only seen a few humans who actually look unique -- particularly human females, but human males are guilty of this as well. Most other humans are carbon copies of one another.

 

This bland, generic look is the fault of character creator, as the presets are nearly identical. The other races get more varied presets imo. If you like humans, then like them. However, I do not, and will not.

Just recently bought DA:I and that was definitely money well spent. Awesome game! 

 

I’m happy to see I’m not the only one with a CC addiction. I struggled with the character creator at first and it took me a good hour or two to create my elf mage. And I wasn't too happy at first since the colors seem to be different in game than in the creator but the more I played the more I learned to love how she looks. I also made an elf archer to play the opposite quest decisions as my first one. 

 

Did anyone else have issues with the scars in the creator? No matter where I moved the sliders and what race I chose I could not see scars at all on my inquisitor(s)
