Except as an elf he is automatically more attractive/unique in appearance/better than any human PC could ever hope to be.

i'm not sure i'd call this guy attractive!  BUt having that wee elvish head atop a lanky human-height body adds a certain awkward appeal that IS very hard to get with humans!

This guy looks very well designed. He kind of looks like a original character I did on Soul Calibur both 4 and 5 that's supposed to be part werewolf and part vampire except this guy looks human who looks like he kills demons for a living or somthing. I mean seriously this dude looks bad***.

This guy kind of looks like Severen's brother but I know he can't be because Severen is pretty skin toned. The reason why I say that is because of the first picture. The way he grins is so Severen.

Just recently bought DA:I and that was definitely money well spent. Awesome game!

I’m happy to see I’m not the only one with a CC addiction. I struggled with the character creator at first and it took me a good hour or two to create my elf mage. And I wasn't too happy at first since the colors seem to be different in game than in the creator but the more I played the more I learned to love how she looks. I also made an elf archer to play the opposite quest decisions as my first one.

Did anyone else have issues with the scars in the creator? No matter where I moved the sliders and what race I chose I could not see scars at all on my inquisitor(s)

Very pretty elf.
The scars will prolly be there if you pull the shader settings up higher I didnt have scars on my old grapic card where i was forced to use medium settings. But now on ultra they are all there

Maybe thats ur issue aswell?

You're getting close! Don't give up! In my opinion try to move the eyes more far from each other, and make the nose bridge wider (between the eyebrows and in general.) The nose needs to be bigger. Bring down the cheeks a bit, the chin up, and a bit narrower if you can. And maybe the forehead wider.

I agree with Lady Layabout.  She's one of the most beautiful female Qunari I've seen yet.  Good job!!!

 

I went back and tried again with the additional advice you people have been providing (and I really appreciate!).  This is what I have now.  She's definitely getting closer to looking like Liv Tyler .  I've been saving the sliders too as I go back.

That's what I thought too, but all my settings were on high...  It seemed to work after I reset everything to standard and then back up to high. Scars are there! Maybe they could be added to existing characters after patch 5 comes out.

The problem is getting all the proportions correct. What looks good from the front can look terrible from any other angle. The facial "self-insert" I made looks amazing from the front and almost spot-on, but from any side angles it's a train wreck. I have to go back to the drawing board with her - patiently waiting for the BE.

Yep, she catched my eyes in the other thread, and I was right in my mind, your Qunari is GORGEOUS ! Thank you for sharing !  I love how she has a lovely gaze and a lovely smile, but when she is pissed, she becomes quite scary.    Whiskasgirl's qunari and yours are my favourite female qunari by far from what I've seen so far ! Most beautiful Qunari(s) for me.
