I found out how to hide the UI to take screenshots during conversation, so feast your eyes on my Inquisitor!

Thank you Mintsong, you are too kind! Honestly I don't know when I will be able to play with her, my top priority should be my mage (but it's soooo tempting)  

 

Haha i hear you, i got my Mage Jilona on "pause" tho, after i updated my graphics Jilona looks abit diff, and its the complextion of the skin i picked - so i will hold on her untill i can change it in Emporium Cause i do nooot like how it looks with this better graphics.

I wanna make new chars and faces everyday tho! I actually made a few chars for friends, to keep me buzy... But they want them "classic" looks that i normally dont enjoy doing...Haah  

 

I move in snail speed in the game atm with Jabaria...SO scared of Solas... Hes gonna break my heart and disapair on me! Gaaah   

 

 

BTW I'm now on Patch 6. 

 

I've always had those highlights in certain lighting (usually very strong lighting) for certain characters, and it's only when the catchlight hits the upper lash line. It never bothered me too much (unless it was really bad) since it almost resembles chromatic aberration from an actual camera lens (something I'm used to dealing with in photography). 

 

The only eye mod I have is HD Eyes - Lore Friendly. I'm pretty sure it's not the mod though, as I've noticed it before I installed that mod. It's weird, it seems to effect elves the most. Take a look at the below shots - both exactly the same, but the "chromatic aberration" only effects the elf (and it's really bad on her):

I have human characters I've never seen it on (Rhiannon), and others where I've seen it, but just barely. A couple of my NPC shots even have it (just slightly), again only when the catchlight touches the upper lash line. It's always been worse on my elves.

Do you have Chromatic Aberration turned on in SweetFx?  Not sure why it would just effect eyes but that's all I can think of.

SRWE sort of works - check out the screenshot thread for a workaround. It requires making custom resolutions via your graphics driver (NVIDIA Control Panel/AMD Catalyst). I've been using that and a combination of custom resolutions with the in-game res settings (downsampling).

It does tend to exaggerate after exiting the CC (happened to my Hawke). A good way to avoid it is to simply have almost no makeup

 

Too true. I want the makeup to look natural and work well with the vallaslin.

My female human Rogue, took couple of attempts.
Elven female mage will probably be created for the second run, therefore searching for inspiration here - on the hunt for all the juicy slider pictures.

Personally I'm waitng for BE before I tackle the ladies. I'm a guy, and play men 85% of the time, so makeup isn't my forte. It shouldn't be too hard but I'd like the ability to tweak the makeup if necessary rather than abandon a character. I originally made a female Qunari when we had the 6 hour preview. She looked fine in the CC but the makeup turned neon in the first speaking scene.

Acutally the first one is a KE(it was my nightmare PT, BW romance ), but you guessed the other one , which is indeed a rift mage. And thanks for the compliment.

Yeah. It was probably around the time of the original Resident Evil that you could choose to play as a female on a semi-regular basis.

 

Skin tone is going to play a factor as well. A fair skinned woman might pull off baby pink blush while it might look clownish on someone with darker skin. This is fantasy I suppose so the normal rules don't have to be followed. If I could pull off a Native American or eastern Indian romance for Solas it would be sweet.

I was attempting a Cobie Smulders lookalike... came close I think, but will probably have to mess around with the sliders again once the BE comes out. Tips for getting her closer would be welcome. 

 

Also... how are you all getting these fantastic neutral lip tones? Every time I try, I end up with a weird, pale color that looks like white lipstick.

About the neutral lip-tones: I don't have any sliders, but I remember putting a red colour in, then making the intensity low, and having little-to-no slip-shine. Hope that helps.

I may jump on this train and update again... BUUUUT it all looks so more complex with the custom resolutions, so ill linger around with patch 5 abit longer

Its nice to see that ppl actually try to figure out workarounds - Would wish for a fix of the issue itself from bioware's side tho :/
