My CC Phase as still not ended
I do however keep myself from making another untill i finish off some... And i move in snail speed in game since i am a screener!
To be fair, I remember seeing a beautiful design of your female elf - with an abstract sort of background, if I remember correctly.
I really liked it, was one of those designs where I would have performed a blood sacrifice. Seems like I really love to use that term, played too much as a mage it seems. As for remaking and restarting, I wouldn't even know which character the newest one would be.
- Started with a human mage.. more or less the default with another beard and hairstyle. Picked Templars by mistake, restarted.
- Human mage, picked mages - got into a romance with Cassandra and lost interest in that playthrough.
- Started a female Rogue, there the CC interest and addiction started... Templars.. searched and became an Assasin. Kept not liking the playstyle, it felt clunky and unprecise the whole time.
- Restarted as an elven mage, another cc addictional search and creation included - was the babyfaced one I posted, recreated her again with black hair - the plastic look bothered me the whole time - played it over half of the game for sure and felt the game wasn't challenging enough. Plus her design got kind of old.
. Restarted with this current female elven archer... so yeah, probably going with Templars this time, no point in supporting the evil mages, huehue.
Point being : Yeah, I have a serious issue with character-commitment in this game as well. Have to play this through this time, might even succeed since finding loot and better gear actually means something/is fun on nightmare, making life easier and progress faster.
True, it's a lot of fun - wouldn't be surprised if I tried to make other designs in the future, hopefully after I finish the game at some point.
It's interesting - and on the other hand logical - that players with a serious "dedication" to the CC have posted amazing designs here. Too bad that asking those people for sliders is always awkward as hell.
To be honest I have an issue with the elven physic, balancing out their cheekbones with their cheecks and the jaw while trying to secure the elven shape and not make them too human is challenging - at least for me, might be just a lack of practice.
Due to my low settings, shout-out to laptop warriors all over the world, creating a character without "too much make up" isn't really an option - tried to go with the least amount possible while saving the eyelashes from being random pixels. I had to give her a healthy sun tan, made sense to me that a Dalish had it - due to their living habits. As for the eye colour, looked better in the limbo environment on the cc, although still solid I think. Didn't really feel like going with blue or green, since those colours can be easily too dark or too light.
