I've played through so many times that now I like having a few characters just to play something different now and then. 

 

I wonder about the reasons that motivate some players to play through this game so many times, since it's an absurd amount of waiting/resource grinding and it feels like 90% of the game is random busy work in form of sidequests, which was different in the games before - as far as I can remember.

Might be just me starting over too often in the past few weeks and therefore getting rather annoyed doing the same things over and over again to such an extended amount. 

Which wouldn't be the game's fault by any stretch, I am wondering since a few different lines of dialogue don't really seem to be worth it - in terms of taking a different race. The story itself hasn't different beginnings like in DAO, played about half of it by now and it seems like the story is on rails, which makes sense for the sake of simplicity in general and production value/time.

 

I mean, after fighting once for the mages and once for the templars.. basically being able to romance two of your (hopefully) favourite characters I kinda lose the concept of further value. I can only assume that it boils down to some neverending thirst for possible new discoveries (no matter how small those might be) of content and unplayed combinations mixed with undying love for the franchise which keeps people going until the next part comes out.

 

In any case, might as well drop another random shot of my archer in order to not make this whole post completely offtopic.

95 hours in, actually.  I was preparing to do the Jaws of Hakkon and the Forbidden Oasis, when I ran into a game-breaking glitch in Halamshiral.  I wanted to cry.  But it's only a game, and playing is fun so .... here we go, heh?

And I turned my dangerous revolutionary into a Disney princess  *disgusted noise*

Whatever I did to her mouth, she now looks just pleased as punch about everything.

I've only begun playing dragon age 3 days ago but restarted about 3 times because I'm a perfectionist and if something's wrong with the character then I cannot "unsee" it and kept re-making until I got this jewel:

Edit : Although, to be fair - they seem to have tried hard to make a lot of possible choices and twists with different results at the end, I can respect and appreciate that.

Thanks for the comments. I had a lot of fun making him. Speaking of, I just finished Tharalen's playthrough.

 

 

Which led to me wanting to smash things so I made myself a Dwarf to get it out of my system. I've yet to finish the game with one so I'm hoping Geram will be the first.

 

 

I really liked Tharalen (especially this screenshot which is just amazing) but holy cow, your dwarf is incredible! Good job!

Thank you for you kind compliments. ^^ I'm still trying to find my "inner dwarf", it was so strange to play with Mihaela, especially after Zezola.   Maybe it's also has to do with my real life height which is the closest to Adaar out of the four. x,D T-T
That cat metaphor is too accurate. haha Tbh Ashah'vin always reminds me of my cat. xD If she had blue eyes (which, funnily enough, she had originally) she would totally be my cat in human elf form. 
Graceful is a really good way to describe her (thank you for pointing it out) that's totally the vibe I was going for. She's really prideful and a perfectionist, never shows any weakness, a straightforward kind of person, but a bit insecure inside when it comes to relationships. ^^
I don't mind it at all, I'm happy you liked it. ^^ Werra was especially a joy to draw.  The little flowers and sparkles suit her too much.  (I have their big sized portraits separately if you'd want them. ^^)

I think you have found your inner dwarf xD Mihaela is incredible! (If your height explains why you feel more comfortable with Zezola, then I understand why I'm obsessed with dwarves XD )

 

And now that you said it, it's true that Zezola's smile could be seen as.... disturbing Don't worry, she's still a long way from Vesania's level!

As for Ashah'vin maybe you drew inspiration from your cat without knowing it Or your cat purposely influenced you

 

I can't tell you enough how much I love your drawings (love the last one of Zezola! She's beautiful) You really capture the personality of the characters, it's impressive! And yes, Sparkles and Flower are Werra's other names If you don't mind, I'd really like your big sized drawings

I tried out both of them and went with the smooth one after all. Ashah'vin's braided hairstyle looked the best with it. 
I'm trying out a lot of new lovely mods (and a reshade preset) atm, I don't even know how I lived without them.  Haha.

Babyface syndrom reminds me of my first mage that I posted some pages back - I know what you mean, not a fan of it either.

I haven't got the final version, since I tweeked her couple of times in the end. Made her nostriles, jaw smaller tried to make her cheecks look natural from the cheekbones to the jaw etc.

 

I can give it a shot and try to recreate her, should be possible since it's rather fresh in my memory.

It's just an offer, since I know the frustration of not finding (complete) sliders of designs that one would like to have/play.

All joking aside, I won't even lie about the fact that I was releaved about Bacchus not reacting since it is a solid amount of work - the delayed request doesn't make things easier to remember.

 

Edit2 : Deleted my first edit successfully. in any case - the point was that you might want to take another look at her cheekbones and cheeks in general, tried to recreate her as best as I could, meaning remembering those last few tweaks I did before doing the last "prototype run" with her.

 

She looks pretty solid and identical in the CC, at least to me - now that I take another look her chin can be a tinny bit smaller - you will have to take her for a test ride on the tutorial so that you can see her from the important angles. Adjusting might be necessary, feel free to comment on those and possible bad sliders in general.

Really enjoy looking at everyone's inquisitors in this thread. I decided to log in & share mine, too.. I'm not too good with the CC in this game but it's addictive. I keep finding myself creating another character while I haven't even finished my first playthrough yet haha.
