I'm loving the Black Emporium! I decided to edit the 1st character I finished the game with and used a couple mods(makeup mod and an eye one) and got her looking closer to what I originally wanted. I'm currently playing through once more with her, heh.

Remember that Elf whose name I couldn't remember? Well, her name's Meshariel! She was supposed to be a sweet girl with a wild side but I apparently misjudged how wild she would be.... She looks like a psychopath xD

They all look great. It depends a lot on what her age and personality is, but I'm choosing this one. She's determined and yet a touch softer. Approachable.

She is in her mid20s, and she is rather dutiful, but if possible, laid back and sometimes silly

 

I also choose the third one. I like how the hairstyle frames her face nicely. She's beautiful too.

 

 

Rannah, oh i think Nela would look good in most hairs... But i actually like nr 1 - looks abit like shes got a ponytail back there

 

 

I prefer this one a little bit more over the first one and both over the second one.

 

 

She is gorgeous. No matter what hairstyle she wears. What ? This isn't the point ? I am not helping ? I must choose ?   Oh well. This one.

 

 It took me a while to figure out why the first pic had more effect on me than the third one with longer hair though. ( which would be my second choice ) I think I know now. 

 

Nela has a beautiful face, beautiful and striking eyes, beautiful eyesbrows, I'd probably like to see them entirely or as much as possible, like it happened with the first hairstyle she had ! The third option hides a bit her left eye and almost entirely her left eyebrow, which I find a bit infortunate. Probably why I prefer the first option.

 

But really, I'm okay with anything.

I think the first one suits her face well. I might be biased though (*looks at avatar*) Third one is good too.

 

Out of the three I prefer the third option. But, have you tried the long ponytail mod? You can easily role play a warrior with that one since it's out of her face. That was my excuse. 

Haven't tried it yet, might sometimes later. As this is a fully-RP playthrough, I do not think her hair can grow so long (maybe after Cory's defeat). So have to look after an other option

 

 

Thank you very much for all those replies! It seems 3rd option is the most popular, so I will end up there (but I think it won't be a terrible idea to let her have the 2nd longest hair - 1st option - for a while ....for RP reasons).

 

Thanks again for helping me out, otherwise I would have ended up with the shaved/braided version

It is time to ask for your kind help. I want to have Nela a little more longer hair (because of reasons), but I just can not decide which one suits her the best. As a warrior, it is clearly more practical to keep her hair short, but...you know...so could you pretty please help me to decide?

So I was FINALLY able to create a female Lavellan that I'm happy with, and that doesn't look like an alien (Seriously, I've been trying on and off again since the game released and I don't even want to know how many discarded aliens I've made). I really wanted her to have that DA2 nose profile and be pixie-ish without being super baby faced. I also wanted her to have a sort of 'woodsy' and 'earthy' look since my male Lavellan, Gilthanas, is very blonde and fair.

 

This was my first iteration, that at the time that I had made her, I was mostly happy with. I looked at her again last night and I just couldn't get excited about her. She constantly looks like a kicked puppy and she has a strange underbite that I just couldn't figure out how to get rid of. Also, I realized afterward that she sort of looks like the elf version of Morrigan. (I have a feeling some people may enjoy this version better as she's a bit more conventional, which is fine, but she just didn't feel like 'my character'):

Anyway, so after 2 hours last night of fiddling around with the BE, I was finally able to make the Kerianseray Lavellan that has been living inside my head since the game came out (I think I may decrease the vallaslin intensity by one though). I'm super happy with how she turned out, (and with hair I never thought I'd use!  ), though unfortunately she'll probably have to sit and wait while I finish up some of the other characters I've made.

My idea for her character is for her to be very much a Dalish elitist and to start off the game rather hostile to anyone who is not "Elvhen" (her limited and biased understanding of what being Elvhen means anyway). Where her attitude goes from there. . . we'll have to wait and see

Then I assume you aren't using patch no. 7. I have the same mods but can't use them with patch no.7 though. B.E. won't allow it. I have posted alot of female characters here when using the face texture mods. I got a couple of female I will show later on which is a female elf and human. I only play female characters. Tried a male but never got to haven. I am a male gamer and I just love playing female characters.
