@mrjack: Oh I've seen that mod--it looks great. I'm definitely going to test it out when I get around to making a new male inq. and haha yes, Shantia has all my admiration and respect! It is tiring to constantly fix minute details in the shape/placement/etc..

I just wish they left off that scarf thingie from that armor set. I get why it's there...neck seam...but you'd think they could have figured out a better way. And I would have loved the face paint...

I made an insanely cute elf a few days ago:

 

 

But then my graphic's card pretty much died and he lost his freckles Am now playing on Low settings with 30 fps... My elf now looks like this:

 

 

I was already planning on buying a new card (upgrading from the GTX 660 to GTX 970) but I wanted to do that next summer. 

 

Anyway, some more shots before he lost his freckles (and before I made him a ginger):

New playthrough, new inquisitor. This is Maya, a human rogue archer, enjoying the Orlesian sun.   I'm planning on romancing Blackwall with her since the man needs love.

@Sylvianus Thank you for the comment about my toon. I do like some aspects of v2.0 which i need to incorporate into v3.0. I think what it boils down to is that v2.0 didn't quite have the facial features I wanted, so I ended up tweaking. Again. Because I'm obsessive about that toon, there will be a 4.0 which blends the work of 2.0 and 3.0/3.5, but not for a while.

I think your DAO-to-DAI conversion looks about as close as you could possibly get. You did a fantastic job, considering that the cranial bone structure is so different between the two games. Part of me wants to ask for the sliders so I could at least give him a proper tattoo for you, but you wouldn't be able to play him. Ah, well.

 

I'm the same with my canon character in any game. I must feel it's perfect in my eyes, so I totally understand!   I'l wait patiently the result with 4.0.

 

And thank you so much for your kind words. it's true that It was quite complicated, I never realized it could be so different between engines or games lol ! Now I know. 

 

And, yeah, I wouldn't be able to play my warden ! xD Too bad, looks really naked and less badass without a proper tattoo on his face !

 

Kudos to Sylvianus and everyone else attempting to make a good replica of their characters from the previous games inside this new engine.

I have a Hawke coming up with my male Qunari playthrough that will be impossible to duplicate. None of his features exist in the DA:I creator. Good news is he had longer hair and a beard so I can just give him a shave and say that's what he looked like all along.   

 

Oh ?  that's too bad for your hawk lmao ! Now I'm curious to see the result, how he will turn ! And thank you !

 

@Sylvianus: you really got the resemblance down--that's super impressive, especially given that the available features were so different!

Aerek actually made clear he's no longer available.  Those two funky Orlesians who like hanging out and chatting over the Inquisitor's relationship status should be properly thrilled.  They'll surely be looking at buying the best hats before the end of game.  Because Aerek is one determined guy, and I'm totally meta-gaming a happy ending for him with this one.

Did you guys realize the Free Marches heraldry and drapes are all colored purple, btw?  How the heck did I miss out on my favorite colors for this long a time?  Argh!

See I was thinking it reminded me more along the lines of those "Wild West" style costume portraits that folks get done...ya know, the ones where folks get all decked out in costumes and stand in intimidating poses for the photographer. Kinda like "glamour shots."

@LynxAcida: Right now, the mod only replaces one tattoo so I feel like it's not good enough to release..once I get inspiration to make a few tattoos for a set, I will probably post the mod and I unfortunately didn't save that inq, but I'm pretty sure she was made from the second head preset from the bottom--I probably widened the cheekbones and jaw, changed to eye shape #2, and it looks like I used lip shape #1 -- sorry that's a bit vague! gah I need to start saving sliders : ( hope it kind of helps.

Here's my mage baby.  I named her Kara, because I was attempting something that vaguely resembled a season 4 style Kara "Starbuck" Thrace from BSG.  EPIC failure of my life, not even a little close, but I think she looks good on her own merits...  Maybe?
