Jason Marcus Trevelyan; level 15 Warrior/Champion, S&S build. He's who I'm running with for my Nightmare run, wanted to go for a classic sword and sorcery type of look while keeping somewhere in the realm of reality. Fairly certain I succeeded.

 

The youngest member of the Trevelyan noble family, born and raised in Ostwick. Young Jason was never one for the immaculate balls and parties his noble relatives fancied, brought on by distaste in courtly intrigues and compounded by a rash awkwardness of youth. On a whim, he joined the Landed Raiders mercenary band and found it to his liking. Following the Blight and the reconstruction under Alistair and Anora, Jason had advanced to the rank of Captain, in charge of a small unit of shock troopers. When the Mage/Templar War broke out, Jason did not see a vie for independence or order or protection, he saw a pointless conflict that benefitted no one.

Have you tried changing FOV value? You can make really amazing close-ups after increasing it a bit (Cinematic Tools starts at -1 value).

Ha I just figured that out today from the beautiful screen archer thread on here; it's just that every time I zoom in, my Lavellan's Tattoo get's slightly pixelated. Even if I take a decent close up the  vallaslin usually ends up ruining the shot.  But really, some of the screenshots people take are so beautiful it's just pure artwork. Everyone made it look easier then it actually is and I thought I was just going to download Cinematic tools and be this excellent screenarcher myself for some reason.... It's probably going to take me a while.

 

Anyway I don't want to derail the thread but I just wanted to say thank you for your help!

Well Ivandra has finished her tasks - and I miss her already. Even after playing this game so many hours she could chain me on the PC - I really loved to play her.

I usually don't post here i have been lurking a lil' bit from time to time but yesterday i made this character and the more i look at her then more i love her She's not perfect at all and some of her features which i haven't considered at all till i created her now i find them very special mostly because the way i want to role-play her "a proud wild untamed halla" like  The one thing she loves is her trees and she dreams to reach the Emerald Graves one day to honor her people but mostly she wants to find out if she can connect with that strong will..looking for answers to what it is that defines her personality.

@LadyAly - short answer is that it's kind of an accident. I noticed some similarities in the CC while making him but thought that maybe it's because he had no hair at the time (I left the hair for last as I wanted to clearly see all the changes I was making). By the time I got to the hair I was used to his face and no longer saw Solas, so all was good until both he and Solas were in the same shot and they both had a frowny expression and the "accidental brothers" brick hit me.

Initially, I constructed a twin headcanon for Haldir with this guy, Eglerion (he's still in Haven at the moment, so I don't have a lot of images of him).

I liked the Dirthamen and Falon'din stories and tried to make a pair of twin Lavellans but still different because they exist in parallel universes. I gave Haldir DIrthamen's vallaslin and Eglerion Falon'din's, they're both rogues but Haldir is an archer and Eglerion is a dual dagger wielder, Haldir is kind of an idealistic, wants-to-help-everyone munchkin, while Eglerion is more of a realistic, kind of impatient hardass. Now I gotta try and find a new spin with Solas somewhere in the mix because it's too good to let slip.

Thank you very much! They replace 15 of the default brows for both genders and all races except for qunari.

I have to say the resemblance between Haldir and Solas is uncanny! your Lavellan twins are great.

Any custom colors will be reset after going to the BE. You will need to re-import them with the save edit tool.

@Schizya I think he looks great, there's a lot of resemblance as far as I can tell, although I might have made his nose a tiny bit smaller.


Here's my new Inquisitor Anneke Trevelyan, I'm very happy how she turned out. I just started this playthrough, so I don't have many pictures yet. I went for heavier make-up compared to my dwarf because I think it contrasts nicely with her pale complexion and the platinum hair. I only wish Bioware included eyebrow rotation slider in CC so that all the Inquisitors didn't constantly look so surprised.

I also don't use mods and play on medium details, so please excuse the slightly shiny hair.

I am writing a Fan Fiction! I decided to make all the characters that will appear in it and thought why not share my designs with everyone here

 

First was of course the main character, Nixlani Lavellan.

The Story is going to have a lot of differences to how Inquisition goes so I am making Male and Female Trevelyan (Yeah they survived too!) and I will add them here when I am happy with them.

 

Also opinions on Nixlani are welcome i tried to get her looking young. Do you think I succeeded?

I named him Otharron, inspired by the Old Norse/Norwegian name Ottar, which I think maybe means "warrior" or "fighter" or something. I dunno. My googling was inconclusive. He's a bow rogue though.

 

He is angry at humans, doesn't like dealing with dwarves, and is distrustful of Qunari. He's cool to his fellow elfbros though. Not too original I guess. I have a bit of a headcanon backstory for him too, but I'm not very far in the game with him, so I dunno if it'll work yet.

 

I kinda wish there were more voice options in the game, 'cause the British one (which I went with) doesn't suit him, and I think the American one would be too deep. Oh well. He's fun to play anyway.

I have been very, very busy the past few weeks, getting all my SWTOR characters caught up and ready to go well in advance of the upcoming expansion to that game.  By the time I really turned back to Dragon Age, I simply had to create a new character, rather than play with one of the two playthroughs I still haven't completed.

 

And then it HAD to be an elf.

 

Because I missed my elf.
