@ S Seraff - Did we get Fawkes' backstory or did I just miss it? I keep thinking of Fallout when I see the name.

Fawkes is an intense and powerful intellect, studious of everything around him – he’s very Holmesian that way. At the Circle he was nicknamed “the Fox” because he was so difficult to control, and was always outwitting his teachers and friends. He makes strategy games out of things reflexively and can be ruthless in his approach.

 

Fawkes struggles with connecting to people vs using them or observing them. He comes off as reserved, even pensive, but his wit peaks through every now and then. And he likes to get away with things - likes to carouse at the pub, paint naked with Dorian watching, follow fashion, and play the lute.

 

Fawkes seeks cleverness over power, as he is not especially talented with magic. He is keenly interested in Glyphs and never goes into the field without a jar of bees.

Hey, thanks. Unfortunately I found that he looks a little too unusual... He looks a little out of place among the other characters in the game, so I'm not sure I'll continue his playthrough.

 

BUT, I made a new character that I really like.

 

Wilhelm Trevelyan is a pious Andrastian and powerful warrior. Here he is wondering what the meaning of this is.

 

 

The deep American voice really suits him.

Does anyone else's Inquisitor's face seem to transform significantly with the light?  My canon Inquisitor Tala Lavellan seems almost like a completely different person at times:

I played a bit with Vesania these last days and I finished 'Champions of the Just'! I never sided with the templars so it was a new experience for me xD What I really liked is how Vesania's disability fitted this quest. It was awesome!

I'll put the screenshots in spoiler, there is nothing revealing but I'd rather be safe than sorry! And there are quite a lot of them ^^"

I love Vesania and I hope she knows that (she still has my kidney).

I totally understand her, Ser Barris can be quite distracting ^^

There are Inquisitors that keep their looks, but sometimes I create one that looks different with every lighting change o.O

Btw, I really like your Inquisitor. Especially on that Haven pic.

Yes. God, yes.

 

The light is my worst enemy when it comes to taking good screenshots.

The shadowing enhances all the wrong proportions.

Definitely yes, I noticed that my new Inquisitor seems to have a totally different mouth shape and size in different light settings.

@phyreblade74 I do not have the problem for stuck on a particular character. I guess all my stories are different ( even if I did the game around 12 times al ready ) and so are my Characters.

 

At least I did change up his coloring, sigh.

No tooth gap this time around, sad to say.  This particular Miykal only decided to surprise me with his eyes.  I usually play blue-eyed characters.  But he seemed to need something different enough, that blue eyes didn't work right.  I still wanted light-colored eyes, though, and the result turned pleasing:

@ RoraM - Sometimes. I've had more trouble with hair appearing through the ears. I'll fix it and then it pops up again.

@Rimfrostr: lighting can be tricky but I have to say your Lavellan is a great balance of beautiful and fierce-looking--love her hairstyle !

Thanks! I haven't perfected her 100% yet so I don't want to post sliders, but I can say that her face shape is all the way to the left and her eye shape is all the way to the right.

Even though I posted a pic of one of my Inquisitor a while back, I wanted to share some pics of my canon Inquisitor Lupita Lavellan

 

First of Clan Lavellan. Knight enchanter. Fave spells are ice + lighting. Barely tolerates humans. She's cool with Dwarves, Qunari and of course Elves (not surprising).

She's also reckless, mischievous and sarcastic.

Well I got a pleasant surprise tonight. I loaded up one of Rhiannon's saves to test a facial hair mod I've been working on for Cullen and I completely forgot that I still had other IQ's mods installed. Lo and behold, we get badass biker chick Rhiannon!

 

 

 

She's not the Rhiannon, just her really...really...hot evil twin.

@Lylliiaa Played Rinna last night for a bit and sometimes she looks cute as a button and then again grumpy like a little dwarf - but always very young. So I let her act like that. Maybe she will get a full play - since she takes nothing serious and is a sarcastic jester. Have a special background in my mind for her I'll share later.

 

@RoraM - Yep I know that feeling. So I use Cinematic Tools and cut scenes for my shots. Also cropping does sometimes wonder.

 

@Alasea Usako is such a lovely one !!! The makeover does really suit her.
