Freeze Time is a thing Cinematic Tools should have never added because I spend way too much time playing around with it. Also trying out some new presets for SweetFX and ReShade - I like'em so far.

Thanks to everyone who posted a like/comment on my newest pair. I've changed my mind a bit. I originally planned Qadira for Blackwall. Then it occurred to me during a break at work that a Qunari female would be better suited for Sera. So I'm going to keep Qadira as she is and switch her to Sera. That means I had to come up with a different LI for Blackwall, and here she is -

 

Miraya grew up as the youngest child in the strictly Andrastian Trevelyan household. Her oldest brother was being trained as the next lord of the castle. Her next oldest brother was sworn to the Chantry as a young boy. With the future of House Trevelyan secured, Miraya had a lot less responsibility placed on her. She turned into a sort of "preacher's daughter". She would play Wicked Grace with raiders, sneak out at night in a disguise to sing at the local tavern, and generally made as much mischief as she could. Eventually she was caught doing something wrong and blamed another girl for what she did. After feeling guilty about what she did, Miraya recommitted herself to her faith and spent more time with her Templar brother. (Work in progress but basically going for "bad girl who turns herself around" which I think is better for Blackwall.)

@Karai9: That's the smile she uses to woo Sera, probably. Siobhan looks like she doesn't take guff from anybody.

Ah, well I definitely see how that smile would work.  Siobhan definitely doesn't take crap from anyone. She's very jovial and likes to tease, but when stuff gets serious, she'll be the first person to cut the bullish*t.

 

As promised here are some opening pics of my next male/female pair. I decided against doing both Qunari in this set merely because I wanted to play as a dwarf.

Why wouldn't pitch grenades be allowed in the sparring ring?   Those eyebrows are amazing on Ussiv. I always love when I see somebody successfully use them on their quizzy because they add so much character. Qadira is also gorgeous. That hair colour with that skin tone are perfect together!

 

My first male Lavellan, Ríon:

Another kind of generic character from me but I do like him - might be the fact that I actually had to put real effort in making a male Lavellan I actually liked ! I've changed the hair a few times in BE but I think this one is a keeper - so I decided to share.

 

Might be the fact that he's new or whatever but really my favourite one of the bunch I've made to RP... About 15 hours in and about to do Champions of the Just for the first time ever... 

 He's not generic at all! There's a really strong element of realism with his face that I love. You'll definitely have to post more pictures as his adventure continues!

@ Karaï : We don't see enough the lovely Siobhan, one pic isn't enough !!! MOAR ! She is beautiful and well designed ! Could you please tell more ? Her background or her personality ? I'm very interested to learn more about her now. 

 

So it's been a while I haven't played and I can't until the end of august, but I still have the old stuff already uploaded, not showed yet as well. First Hildr ! I must say, this is the first time I played a dwarf in a dragon age game, and thanks to my character and this first experience, now I love playing dwarves !

Hildr is so very pretty  All of the lovely dwarfettes in this thread definitely make me want to play as one eventually. And yay! more Jaheira! Did she get some new armour?

 

Thank you for all the Siobhan love  I wish I had even more pictures to share, but unfortunately I haven't played DAI all that much lately (here's a couple more for now at least). 

Here is her bio as requested!:

 

Siobhan's mother is from a lesser Olesian noble house, and even though she married a freemarcher, Siobhan's mother still likes to keep certain things around their household very 'Orlesian'. While Siobhan's three older sisters were more than happy to wear the ornate, frilly dresses and masks of Orlais, Siobhan always preferred armour, much to her mother's displeasure. Siobhan's relationship was never good with her overbearing mother, and Siobhan came to hate living in the lifestyle of the Orlesian nobility so much so that when she was old enough, she would sneak in with the house guard and practise sword play in the hopes of one day running away to become a mercenary. Siobhan's mother eventually found out and decided to give her rebellious daughter to the chantry in the hopes of 'fixing her daughter's abnormal behaviour'. Siobhan was of course raised Andrastian and she believes in the Maker and His teachings, though she's never been overly devout, so this situation didn't really help her relationship with her mother. The Chantry at least recognized Siobhan's skill with a blade, and when the conclave was called they sent her along as a bodyguard.

 

Now as the Inquisitor, Siobhan views her companions as her new family and is fiercely protective of them (which is why she just chose the Champion specialization). The only two she has any real problems with are Solas and Cole (things to do with the fade kind of freak Siobhan out). She also recently found love with the Iron Bull, as he's the only person with whom she can be brutally honest and still have a laugh and some drinks afterward.

Can't place which scene your screenies originated from but I really like the way your Inquisitor looks... and the name is really lovely too I wish there was like a really thick Irish or even Welsh accent to go with the way she looks... I just think it would be lovely for some reason

@Rabastan you're very welcome, this is probably my favourite thread on the forum and I love seeing new inquisitors. Rion really reminds me of someone, but I can't place who it's going to drive me nuts now lol 

Thank you for the kind words about Siobhan (the pictures are from the romance scene with Bull by the way). I would love if there were an Irish or Welsh accent but oh well, maybe next game. I ended up using the american voice for her because I felt that the English voice was too soft and dainty for the kind of character I'm playing her as, and so far it's suited her really well.

 

@Krypplingz the pic of Adair and Josie is super cute! Love the haircut on Audra. I keep trying to make that haircut work, but so far I haven't had any luck.

@ Karai9 - Thanks. What's funny is one of my friends came over right when I was finishing up Ussiv. She liked the bushy eyebrows, but then begged me to remove the eyebrows completely. It's alright but makes him too creepy. Kind of like Stone Cold Steve Austin.

 

 

He does look good in the Avvar armor, especially in Haven with the falling snow. We didn't see any zebra-striped animals in JOH so I'm wondering what the armor is made out of. Probably hardened gurgut skin on top of bear pelt. Or fade-touched spider fur. Wearing spider fur...now there's a thought.

 

 

@Rabastan - The face your Inquisitor pulls when you try to comfort Varric is classic. Second best is when you're reopening the wormhole in Redcliffe.

 

@ Krypplingz - That picture with Adair and Josephine is fantastic! I don't know if it will look the same with my dwarf. He'll probably rest his head on her.

@Karai9 feel same way about this topic tbh... I've been busy at work so I rarely comment but I love seeing what kind of Inquisitors people have made - there's a few people I'm practically fanboying over - you know who you are - and I love it when people give small details about their characters !

I was really hoping for a thick Welsh accent cause I just love how it sounds... And would be fitting for the Dalish especially

 

@auronvigo I really like the way your character looks ! So different... I love it. And I do agree took the right choice on keeping those eyebrows... and I've completely missed that expression for some reason   did CotJ this time around. *youtubeing it right now*

 

@Krypplingz I'm pretty sure Josie wouldn't have minded Adair getting rid of the Skyhold PJ's for that scene 

 

Everyone seems to be romancing Josie now... I was going to go down that path with Ríon as well, but seeing him in the skyhold PJ's just made me think that Josie would maybe laugh at that skinny sack of bones, big eared shy goofball that he is even though he is the Inquisitor   Think I'll cross my fingers really hard and wish for a DLC with a new potential LI (Scout Harding and Fairbanks pleasethankyou BioWare...) and opt out for flirting with everyone if the mood strikes - though Ríon is kind of shy so even though I'm tempted at times I'm opting out from some of the choices and just choose the funny ones (Cassandra didn't really let him read Swords And Shields tho - bookhogger !).

Seldom with Cullen though... I think Ríon loves to tease him a little and I just love the awkward comebacks he gives for male Inquisitors Maybe I'll do a Qunari Inquisitor next and just pester Cullen throughout the game for the laughs.

I just wanted to post my main's new look, after BE. Finally got him to look young enough to fit my mental cannon rp for him. I'm happy with how he turned out. I liked his original look too, but from certain angles he looked... old and sort of weird... Curse you Character Creator!

So, time passes and I wanted to show that on my Inquisitor. I gave her darker skin (completed all the desert maps), more scars (she did Bull's romance quest), her horns are bigger (it looks like they grown!) and hair just slightly darker. Hope you like it!

 

 

Aaaaand you can't really see scars. Damn. But look at her! She is so mad at Cullen-senpai for going too risky! Also, what are you looking at, Adaar?

My last elf, Vunin, a more mature inquisitor, likely in her late 30/early 40's:

Vunin is an older inquisitor. She is a competent spellcaster, but by no means a master, and thus never became Keeper's first. A few simple ward spells and ice magic were all she knew. Her magic grew slightly when she gained the mark, though she still has a long way to go. She recently undertook the study of necromancy, which she finds fascinating, and will put to practical use when she returns to her clan, reanimating the dead to turn humans away from Dalish camps.

 

Vunin never had time for romance even when she lived with her clan. She agreed to an arranged marriage 10 years ago, and while she never felt passion toward her husband, she finds comfort in the thought of returning to him.

 

Vunin is leery of the human inquisition, and believes the "advisors" are just using her mark to restore the status quo. Concerned for her own personal safety, Vunin plays along, parroting pro-Chantry rhetoric, awaiting the day she can face Corypheus, and then flee from her captors.
